i changed most miracle panties to dawn cloth as it's the 1st one in the Blessed Scroll of Superior Material list and it already has decent (850) price modifier. I didn't change them further as I don't have material to craft enough scrolls.

I also crafted few thousands of other type items to fill the shop later. Lucky day is a lucky day, even random crafted equips are generally much more expensive than dungeon loot.

So, if you get lucky with one evolution heart and one stardust, and have enough crafting levels (alchemy and carpentry), you can find/buy any armored boots and craft your seven league boots with no wishes involved.
I guess you can probably get a wish before getting strong enough to handle lv.+30 enemies (to get the hearts), especially as a new player, but at least it is an option that won't involve the risk of bad mutations, attribute losses and aliens invading your body (since it is hard to protect yourself against these problems early in the game).

This is another thing I'm kinda iffy about Elona+ changes. All these more time based mechanics creeping into it. I used to not care about time either back in the good old vanilla elona days of just Tax and Etherwind.
But now I gotta remember to use a Seed Statue every day ending in 3, 6 or 9 and feed my cute fairy every day ending in 3 and 9.
I gotta worry about being ready to do dungeons during Nefia fever and hitting as many as possible. I sometimes think it's a waste of time to do dungeons outside of nefia fever and would rather save the nearby dungeons for fever time, only to have a random diastroph hit the continent before I get to clear them.
And when I get to the Artifact fusion point at Lost Irva, I gotta fucking remember which hour to turn in the fucking quest to get the jewel I want to use in artifact fusion.

The seed thing is super annoying and really dampens the fun of this game, so to counter that what I'll do is use opatos shoes to grind out 100 herb seeds at a time then put my statues away until I run through my seed supply. Honestly any time related thing in this game can be manipulated with those shoes. It's insane how often I'm taking them off and on. This game is basically unplayable for me without them. If I wanted to spam fever dungeons I'd just walk around on the world map until the fever activates. Doing this allows me to focus on whatever it is I'm doing at the time 100% without constantly running around worrying about time based activities and being less efficient.

That would mean sexp gets 1/1000 of the current value of an attribute after the millions place. Unless \ is integer division, in which case it returns zero every time because attributes max at 2000.

From peeking at things in elosnack I can tell you that raw skills and attributes are stored as ints. They are also kept in the save files CALLED sdata.
For example, my character has 274 base strength, which is stored as 274047322. The level of an attribute and its total experience is one and the same. They get harder to level not because they require more experience to hit the next level, but because the function that adds experience to them from experience earned adds less and less as they get higher.

Volume and time are key here. In the case of rods, more farms full of magic seeds means more chances at a rod of wish when it comes time to harvest. In the case of spellbooks of wish, having access to more magic vendors, through hiring them in your house or continuing with the story to unlock South Tyris's and Irva's shops, helps your chances of finding a spellbook of wish. I've had my character Kai invest tons into his magic vendor. Don't know if it's helping my chances but it certainly hasn't hurt it seeing as how I've always had a steady flow of spell books of wish appear.

So once you have a lot of farms or magic vendors to draw from then it's just a matter of time in game for those items to appear. There's several ways to speed up or slow down in game time.

Currently I'm farming herb seeds/restoring my herb farms with Kai and figured if I'm going to do that I might as well farm wonder scrolls, material scrolls, and see if I can get spellbooks of wish. My favorite method to speed up time currently is to make log cabbins/shack deeds. I quickly cut some trees in some random wilderness map and come back home and craft the aforementioned. Crafting those deeds takes 12 in game hours which pass by fast in real life time. Do this for a bit and your vendors will refresh their inventories for another round of checking for spellbooks of wish, statue/gemstone timers refresh, restore spell potential, farms become ready for harvest, etc all the while you're doing something that earns you gold. Like in my pic I have Kai selling some deeds he made waiting for timers to refresh for 162k.

So my house servants are watching me put together a log cabin and after 3 days I just turn around and ask all 8 of them if they have anything good on them. Sooner or later my character gets tired and I just go to my bedroom and have happy sex with my dark elf. Wake up in the morning, maybe collect some herb seeds if it's collection day, and get back to working on cabins while my servants bring me more scrolls or hopefully spellbooks of wish.

Finally beat Zeome and made it to South Tyris yesterday. I was thinking I'd make a grand post about it but Zeome ended up getting dropped by the OP pets that it didn't seem all that exciting anymore.
Managed to evolve the Young Lady all the way to Vampire though. Throw Greater Potion is great and I don't have to worry about molotovs anymore.

After the 3 year time skip my farms were chocked full. Unfortunately, the indigo lobster ended up spewing out mostly hermit crabs and I had already upgraded to patch 1.71

First thing I did in South Tyris was get the Kumiromi statue and objet of heart. Then finally spent all the Little Sister rewards I've been saving up to get several copies of Kumi Figures. Hope I can dump farm quests now.

Spent AP for the first time. Mostly speed upgrades for everyone + synchro hearts action for me. Improved the quality of the little girl which gave her those { } brackets. Strangely, renaming pets will remove them unless you retype the brackets manually.

Potentials are, well, what they say they are. It modifies the amount of EXP you gain towards the stat or skill, which in turn makes it easier to raise.

You can see the exact percentage of your potential on skills, but for stats you just get wording. Basically, even if your Skills have great potentials, they won't help you level your stats if everything is at 'Hopeless', because you're gaining minimal Stat EXP.

Admittedly, your skills matter a lot as well. The only stat you really want to be raising early on is probably CHA, just so you can get your party size limit higher. It really sucks to lose CHA from death early on.

You can get artifact-type seven league boots, aurora and speed rings with the recipe without using a wish, hoping for rare drops or visiting Noyel after spending some good cash on investment.
Use the "Equip Update" recipe with any random boots/ring until you get the type you want, then use the result item as a material for the "Equip Making" recipe. The results of the making recipe will only consider the type of based item (ignoring material, stats and enchantments, and the lack of them in the case of "Equip Update"-generated league/aurora/speed stuff), so you can create items with proper natural enchantments (like +travel speed) with the recipe. Not something you can do on low levels, so I guess seven league boots still is a best option for a first wish.
For weapons, the "Equip Update" recipe will give you an updated damage dice and pierce% (based on the new weapon type) while keeping the original item's material and enchantments. Mostly useful to bring the natural enchantments of one item type to another, like you suggested (how good it is depends of your own interests). Also useful to turn your old stock of living lightsabers into living claymores, or to create explosive panties.

The first and only thing you need to concern yourself for awhile while starting out is gold and how you're going to make it. That gold will then later be used to solve all sorts of problems. Potential problems through investing in magic vendors, mutation problems(having all the best mutations and none of the bad ones), corruption problems, spell stock problems(spellbooks cost gold regardless of whether you're using the mage guild or not), etc. By having gold to spend it affords you to actually make even more gold since you'll then have access to properties such as farms, shops, ranches, etc. So yes, your focus should definitely be on gold for now.

Right at the start of the game I would Kai do one green $ hunting quests from the Vernis job board. Let the little girl tank while I swoop in for the kill. I would use said gold on the bakery NPC and buy sandwiches and breads/food that does not rot to prepare for my pilgrimage to Noyel. We're heading to Noyel to drink from the holy well there. With luck, you'll get your first wish without having to experience anything bad due to the well liking to give good stuff instead of bad.

The most important first wish imo in the current version of the game right now is seven league boots. Due to the reduced travel time buff on the boots, this makes almost all before it's too late/delivery job board quests easy which is good since these can pay 5-10k+ more in gold. So the quests you should be doing after getting 7LB are before it's too late, book delivery, and hunting quests. Those will be your bread and butter for awhile. You can do escort quests as well but these can be a big gamble. Assassins can ambush you on the world map and you need to kill them all while making sure they don't kill your client. So if you do escort quests try to make sure the destination target is a short distance away.

While doing these quests you'll be getting platinum. Use them to buy new skills from the trainer. Once you have weight lifting you can branch out to harvest quests in Yowyn and do them for gold and seeds. For now, just store your seeds in your home. Most likely you'll be traveling town to town doing book delivery, hunting, before it's too late, harvest, and maybe escort quests. Perhaps try to add cargo running into the mix for more gold. Like buy Manboo is Port Kapul and sell it in Noyel for maximum profit.

Your first goal now that you've secured a money making process is to get potions of potential to solve your attribute potential problem. Your target gold amount you're aiming for should be somewhere around 100k in gold. I could be wrong but I think this is the amount for the first 50 invest shop level boost for a shopkeeper. If you don't see the option for investing in bulk/50 shop levels keep getting gold until that option comes up. Investing in bulk saves gold at early shop levels.

Anyhow, choose any 1 magic vendor in any of the towns. Use all the gold you're making and invest in them. Do the initial 50 bulk invest and after that you can slowly invest in them/not use the bulk option. Target shop level is 150 however 80 is good enough to start seeing your first potions of potential. Higher ranks of the shop will increase the chance of seeing these potions and other things will start becoming available too. Such as potions of cure mutation, evolution, cure corruption, and more. These can be used to solve your other problems I talked about earlier. So keep investing in this one shop and every 3 days look at their inventory to see if they have potions of potential or other things you may want. From there it's merely doing the job quests you've already been doing and slowly adding more ways to get gold. Look into getting a farm setup and use all the seeds you've been storing up from harvest quests on them. Cook the stuff you harvest and sell them for gold. You should be around lv 15 or more at this point. Start doing lv 1 dungeons. Yes, lv 1 dungeons or as low as you can go. You're only doing these dungeons to farm material nodes for crafting, platinum, and to get items for crafting. Either do these dungeons or do the puppy caves to get crafting items. If you can find a pot for fusion you've hit the jackpot. Tons of things you can craft using it that you can use to make additional gold. Instant ale, stone/wood crafting, and more can help add to the gold you make. Use this gold to go beyond the one vendor you've invested in and invest in others in other cities.

The initial trip to Noyel should be easy enough. You start with food cargo and you can buy stuff from the baker. Along the way you can stop by Palmia and eat at the inn then continue on to Noyel. As for job board quests taking you all around the world the only problem point in Noyel. Port Kapul to Palmia is nothing. Those quests are easy to complete with 7lb. If you do take a quest to Noyel make absolutely sure your starting point is either Palmia or Lumiest. Your speed attribute determines how long your travels will take with 7LB and other stuff potentially helping you out.

Back in the early days with Kai I don't recall ever having problems with traveling to places except Noyel where I would make I only took them from Palmia or Lumiest. I made plenty of gold that way. I never cared how many days or weeks it took me to cross points as long as I completed the quests. In fact, the passage of time being fast was a good thing because it meant shop vendors were refreshing and quests on the boards were constantly refreshing for me to do. If you care about being forever 17 you can always knock back a couple of blessed slow potions later on to reduce your age if you care about time although age is just a fluff thing with no real bearing on the game.

Cargo has no time limit. Early on almost all equipment sells for pennies except for artifacts and engagement jewelry. Keep the engagement jewelry and artifacts for trading to adventurers or selling in your shop later, get rid of almost everything else as soon as you identify it. Inventory management is a huge pain in the ass in this game, you will have a much better time when you start ignoring garbage.

By Palmia is fine but anywhere should work fine. You probably want to get ensemble so 30 performer and level up should be a goal. Ensemble will make the party time quests easier for you. If performing is a main focus for you then it's fine to use your bonus points there. If it's not you might want to save your bonus points for leveling up literacy or casting. Keep in mind too that fascination dance is a good alternative to performer for party time quests but that runs off of charisma.

You need high DV or PV. Guessing around 1000+ in either of them. I normally can achieve that using holy shield spell or the feather spell. Otherwise, I'm guessing you really need to pay attention to the armor you're wearing, what it's made of, and plus bonuses to them. Also your armor skills as well.

Cargo has no time limit as far as I'm aware. That's why it's fine to buy cargo in Port Kapul, do some quests in the meantime, and when your travels take you close by to Noyel, sell your Manboo or whatever cargo sells for a lot there.

Most of the time quest rewards are going to give you equipment. Some pieces may be good for equipping but the vast majority is probably going to be junk. I would either store these items in your home or just sell them for a real small amount of gold. It isn't until you open up a blacksmith shop that you can start earning some real gold from equipment. Do keep some unidentified gear on you so that you train your sense quality skill. Also, pay attention if you get any guns, bows, rods, and items of that sort that the gods like. Store them in your house and when it comes time to convert to them, favor bomb them with the stuff you stored up.

Rods, scrolls, and spellbooks can sell for a decent amount of gold if you really need the money. It's worth identifying them once so that any future gains of those items are already considered IDed for the purpose of selling.

The way I see it Act 1 concerns are gold, potions of potential, cure corruption, platinum, and getting new skills. Act 2 is AP, small medals, herb farms, and perhaps getting serious about pets. Act 3 is artifact fusion and finally building that perfect set of armor. At least those were my concerns with each Act.

As for new home delay it as long as possible. You can always redecorate your cave if the look of it is killing you. Otherwise, I personally feel that gold is better spent investing in vendors in each town until you're satisfied with the stream of potions of potential and other useful stuff from your vendors. Sooner or later though, you'll be making enough gold that buying a new home, or any property, isn't really that hard to do and that's when I would do it if I had to do it all over again.

Unless you're a dedicated performer party time quests should be done later. It's going to require some effort to raise the necessary skills or attribute to be consistently successful at them. I ended up doing party time quests when I got access to fascination dance and used that to complete those quests.

Perform/Ensemble gives gold and items.
Preaching only gives money and trains Faith/Will instead of Perform/Charisma.
Sexy Dance gives little to no money but is faster and more points on Party Time than the other options.
It's all about what you want to do with the quest: Grind faith/will? Grind perform/charisma and get gold/items? Farm music tickets? Having options is always nice.

If you are pass the point of needing as much money as possible from every possible source (plus sexy panties, everyone loves them), yeah you don't really want to perform in parties anymore, but you can't expect that you will be making a living as a priest (not a virgin one, at least). I believe there are some performing-exclusive items outside of party quests, but I don't really remember them right now (I'm not really a bard to be honest, I prefer to use the other parts of my body for my grindy objectives). Well I've intuited what the parameters of skillmod likely represent: skill id, character id and amount, but I don't know what skills 10,11 and 17 are (probably not investing, anatomy and dual wield), what cdata 58 or 25 are, etc... I'm assuming index 0 for character is the player, so sometimes players lose stats for puking. Unless 10,11,17 are weight, hunger and a counter toward being anorexic. This is really frustrating, especially since I don't know what format the save files are stored as. Maybe hex? Even if I could read them properly I doubt they'd be very easy to understand.
I don't want to give up exactly, but I think getting a working clone of most features is a pipedream. I will however continue work until I at least have an overworld to walk around on.

Reading the cursed scroll will just do a broken teleportation spell that will send you to the opposite of your home. If you have high karma the guards will let you go on the next day (probably because they don't even know why you are there, so they had to check their files first to confirm).

I recently found an evolution heart for my little girl and turned her into a valkyrie, the wiki says that they get cheer. I had her set up with some custom AI so I went to check for it and found nothing in there, but even trying the default AI she does nothing. does she need some certain level in a skill or stat?

also I recently found my first decent living weapon, and I want to add magic damage to it but I'm confused as to how that works. the wiki implies the month has something to do with it, I've checked both February and March but its been nether damage/resist for both (although the skills change). I'll keep checking the other months as I go through but I'm wondering what you guys know.

The living weapon level up selection changes per month and for each +enhance you add to it, so you can add +1 then check it to see what it has or wait a month and check or do both.
The list will rotate, starting with fire->cold->lightning->etc->ect->fire, so you can loop around if needed (I don't think it's in that order, but it's close to it).

For the little girl not having cheer, reinitialize her AI, cheer should appear after that. It seems you have to do that sometimes for pets that get new skills on evolution.
