Remember

Gensokyo is a real place and the only way to get there is live a long and happy life dying in your sleep one day from old age. Happiness awaits and perseverance is the way to achieve it. They're waiting for you, prove to them they're worth it.

Did you come here to make me cry or something?

Only one can hope. This isa very specific requirement. Reasons?
>Happiness awaits and perseverance is the way to achieve it. They're waiting for you, prove to them they're worth it.
How ca one be happy? Everything is a dead end and some can't truly be happy based on what they have been through.
It's hard living with a reason to preserve when you have nothing to lose.
>they are worth it
They are...
They are...

Absolutely ridiculous. It's entirely possible to create a viable portal from reality to Gensokyo and I'm going to be the first to do it.

>Gensokyo is a real place
It's not. That's the entire point. It's the reversal of real space contained in a magical bubble. A spatial inversion. An anti-Geller field. This is what allows it to persist in its current state. By claiming its reality, you are denying its existence.

Actually the only way into Gensokyo is to fade away and be forgotten by the outside world. It is hikki-NEETs with dead families who are closest to waking up in the land of fantasy.

Heh. Like that's easy at all when people flock to you when you want to be unnoticed.
To truly be forgotten, is impossible i say. There will always be something to remember about you, even if referred to "that one guy in/at/on/near/etc. X."
>>17314361
Forget happiness, you won't find it. Let alone a happy life. You can't choose how you are born. You cannot comtrol what happens to you through others' actions. You can only sit on the sidelines and hope your ranting got to them and they don't fuck everything up. Unless they're known to be a fuck up in everything they do.
Above applies to here as well. Being truly forgotten is not somethng easy. Once you exist, you can't disappear from the minds of those who knew you from birth.

This also includes records. For a larger chance of success, you must destroy absolutely all of it, starting from your birth certificate to your bills, which are linked to the government database.

Sounds impossible, it is. You need to be born in an isolated location, stay like that until everyone you know are dust without letting them spread the word of your existence, and having last of your traces vanishing into the void.

In other words, tough cookies. If you leave ANY trace, that is a hint to your existence. You won't reach the %100 percentage of suddenly waking up in Gensokyo. However, that chance might, just might get broader if you do your best at erasing your traces.

True but getting and destroying such records is a task.
If anything, the best course of action is not existing in the first place.

You don't understand. Gensokyo is a nature preserve for things whose names and significance have been forgotten. To be forgotten you have to have had some presence in the first place. Leaving records and memories has nothing to do with it. When people you used to know remember that guy who did that thing they aren't remembering you. They're remembering what you did. It could have been anybody. What is important is not even whether they remember your name, but whether they care what your name was at all. Remember, Tama-chan, a dead fad, and the jinmenken, an urban legend, made it through the barrier, just because their presence was weak and insignificant. But they certainly had presence at some point, even if it was precarious and fleeting. There's a reason Gensokyo isnt full of middle-aged hikkis. You wake up in Gensokyo when who you become irrelevant, and all the traces you left don't really have anything to do with you anymore, but if you never had any potential for presence in the first place you won't be noticed there either; you'll just fade away.
