You don't. You born being good at it (no, seriously, I've been playing since 2011 and I have only 1cc one time).

Some people just don't have good enough reflexes. But don't worry, you can enjoy Touhou with the big variety of printed works and doujin works out there.

I've been playing for 7 months and already got some Extra stages and Normal/Hard 1ccs, I never played any bullet hell games before. If a bad racing games player like me could do this I bet you could too, after you learn how to stream and death-bomb everything becomes much easier, don't give up yet.

No, he's right. Everyone has a different ceiling. If he's on the low end of the curve, no amount of advice or calling him nigger is going to make him play at a normal level.

Yeah, more or less. Back in middle and high school I didn't played that much, but since last year I started playing much more often, and even then I don't improve that much.

But that's ok, the things I play the most are turn-based RPGs and VNs, so I'm not used to fast-paced games like bullet hells or fighting games. I play Touhou mostly for the girls and story.

>Yeah, more or less

Planning and routing in STGs is just as and often more important than dodging. There's more to argue when climbing difficulty, but any random shitter should be able to work their way up to plan and bombspam for Normal 1ccs eventually. Consistent effort and practicing smart (rather than blindly shoving credits at the game) to acquire basic skills are the most important factors at that level.

Absolute crap. Even at the lower end of human reflexes Touhou is trivially possible. It was made by a human, not some fucking sentient AI. Even if you are slow, you can play it enough times muscle memory will do it for you.

>> No.17286141

>>17283426

Yeah, because ZUN, an ordinary human, would create a game that normal humans can't complete. Humans perform tasks that are harder than Touhou everyday. If you can read a book, you can play Touhou. Difference is, humans spend 16 years of their lives and over 200,000 hours learning to read, some people play Touhou for an hour a month and then come here to wallow in self-pity.

Over the course of a year, I went from not being able to beat PCB on normal with continues, to being able to 1cc it on lunatic. Practice helps.
