The setting is two boys being abducted into a facility where all kinds of people are forced to either hurt each other or have sex to get points that they need to get out of there.
The interesting part is that there's a thingy where you can see the status of the other rooms, you can broadcast your room or give informations away to the others for points, buy extra stuff with points and stuff like that.
Apparently one room even had a family with a small child in it.

The game explains all that, but hardly ever touches it again after the first two days. We'll never know why anyone would run such a facility, what happened with the other rooms, what would've happened if the two seriously tried to fight them, etc.
And the 'hurt each other' also doesn't get much focus.

This is pretty silly.

Took my time, but I finally finished Narek's route. The common route was actually pretty good, then the individual route got so bad that I dropped it multiple times, then it got better again. I felt bad, but Narek deserved it. The officials were only working for their own interests so him reclaiming power is justified, otherwise you can't really blame the people if they wanted to revolt with how things were. Well, all's well that ends well

Now I wonder if I should go for Slut (initially I tried his route first, but got fed up and uninstalled) or the Selenfalen guys.

I was reading Omerta in the previous thread. The game is typically wacky, so when the fandisk decided to make me cry and genuinely like the most unexpected character it caught me off guard and is only the second VN to accomplish that. Now I'm going through a post-game phase where I don't feel like moving on quite yet.

It's been forever since I played the original, but I have to say I like 0 quite a bit. One thing I really like is that "endings" don't necessarily mean that Okabe gets with the girl. He's just in love with Kurisu the whole time. I would say it's a game for Kurisufags, but at the same time she's fucking dead for the whole thing. It's still science-y, and the topic of AI feels very relevant to recent years.

It's a bit more fanservice-y at times but it never feels completely useless. I've seen some reviews that say it has scenes that drag on for no real reason but I've never felt that. I enjoy spending time reading about every one of the characters. Plus, Punished Okabe is fun to read about and I really feel for him because if Lukako didn't exist, I'd be a Kurisufag

We had a considerable amount of discussion on it back around release. I eventually decided to check it out myself and I really had a lot of fun with the chats. The real-time system added to the experience, but it also acted as an obstacle that kept me from sticking around to fully complete the game. I ended up only doing Zen, Yoosung and Seven's routes. Favorite boy was Seven, followed by Yoosung.

It's made me a little curious what Cheritz does next, even though it'll probably be another mobage.
