The general rarity rates are same as Nutaku's, but I don't know about the spotlight rate ups. On DMM, I think they can vary between different spotlights. I want to say it's usually 3x and sometimes 15x.

I usually have good luck with spotlights myself, at least for Rs/SRs.

Jesus, these magic city 4* maps aren't fucking around. I have a lot of tanks for golem duty (Nadia, Angeline, Mireille, Shizuka, AW Prince and Racua, with Elyse to enable them all) and they're still a nightmare to get through.

If you're active, yes, a maxed out weapon inventory is great to save on headaches and stockpile exp and skill up fodder. Summon inventory can just be increased when needed.

Most games require you to use money to expand your inventory so I don't think 100 crystals per 10 slots is bad. I expanded all my slots to 300, using free crystals, and I have no regrets. (They're all 400 now, thanks to the free +100 weapon/summon/accessory slots we got from anniversary)

I assumed by trash weapons you meant Ns. Rs are useful as skill fodder and should not be sold/donated unless you're some mega-whale who already finished skilling up his pool. If anything, you can at least throw a R into a fodder SR and make it sk2, making it worth 7 skill points instead of 3.5. If you have an extra 2 Rs, can go ahead and make it sk3 and worth 10.5 pts, and so on. It'll make it easier to skill level SSR weapons in the long run.

I found Kodaibana to be too unreliable for ampules unless you really have nothing else to do, and we don't know how many of these shards the equipment upgrade mechanic will need. 6* shards are also far too rare in the non-EX aqua shadow map, if you're looking for them, though you can try your luck while grinding for special map medals.

Speaking of which, water mirror knights were a pretty good idea, we can now see for ourselves how tough the Blossom Hill's top couple really is. Wonder if they intend to do similar things in the future, with other girls like Dendrobium/Black Baccara, Red Ginger/Anthurium/Hibiscus or Mandragora/Redbud/Nepenthes.

Yeah, I'm in the same boat now. There isn't much of a point in playing the game once you get past the AW level.

But my main problem is that it's extremely resource-intensive to max out a girl, so I can't be bothered even with higher-end, fun-to-use units, let alone regular event girls. It's quite a major contrast to (modern) FKG, which allows you to casually max everything you want and only encourages grinding for secondary benefits like whale equipment.

Type A is generally a single buff/debuff. Ie. The various party attack up buffs like Avalon, Amon's def down and Jeanne's atk down.

Type B is generally from skills that cast multiple buffs/debuffs at once. Ie. d'Art's heal+atk/def up to self and all the various atk/def down skills.

Type Cs are special cases, like Sol's Atk down, Cthulhu's def down and some of the big self attack buffs a lot of characters have.

The Stacking frame has all the cumulative effects in it, like Svarog's stacking party atk up buff. You'd think Susano's buff would fit here, but it's actually Type C since it's a self attack buff.

Summon frame is summon effects. I don't think there are multiple 'types' yet so same buffs don't stack even if one foes multiple buffs and the other doesn't.

Then there's damage cuts. It has Type A, B and summon frames, and also a Reflect and Elemental Resist frame, which all stack with each other up to 100%. Type A damage cuts are the ones from Heroic Spirits, while Type B are from your kamihime. The rest are self-explanatory.

Type A is generally a single buff/debuff. Ie. The various party attack up buffs like Avalon, Amon's def down and Jeanne's atk down.

Type B is generally from skills that cast multiple buffs/debuffs at once. Ie. d'Art's heal+atk/def up to self and all the various atk/def down skills.

Type Cs are special cases, like Sol's Atk down, Cthulhu's def down and some of the big self attack buffs a lot of characters have.

The Stacking frame has all the cumulative effects in it, like Svarog's stacking party atk up buff. Exception: You'd think Susanoo's stacking atk buff would fit here, but it's actually Type C.

Reroll for SSR hime and SRs/Rs that will let you have an early monoelement team since you'll most likely be using that for everything. I haven't played DMM version but so far in Nutaku Dark and Fire are the best elements in my opinion. Dark has Amon, a SSR with a single target 25% def debuff which will stack with the Mist of this game (unfortunately Mist is only 20% instead of 25% so you can't cap though 45% overall def debuff is still very very nice). Unfortunately Dark's free event where you could have gotten a SSR main summon along with SSR atk passive weapons is long gone and you'd have to wait for several months for a rerun for that. Fire is nice in that it has some decent SSR attackers right now along with SSR Amaterasu which has a single target 20% atk/def debuff along with refreshes and shit. Unfortunately this does not stack with Mist, but you can just take the Warrior's equivalent of Armor Break 1 as an EX instead to help stack def down. Also unfortunate that Fire has an ongoing event right now which is close to ending so you won't be able to make the most of it and farm SSR atk passive weapons if you do decide to go with Fire.

So far only Water and Thunder have yet to get events. I've heard Thunder is pretty shit though so Water is probably your best bet if you want to reroll. The first SR you get in the game is also a Water unit too similar to Katalina except she has no Veil or damage cut. Water has some nice SSRs and SRs out at the moment but I'm not too well versed in how Water works.

Overall, just imagine yourself playing super early GBF. So far there are only Normal/Hard multibattles that drop SRs at most, which will be making the staple of your grid for now. There are no different skill modifiers so no need to worry about Magna/Elemental/Unknown/Character Atk etc; just stack Atk passives.

Weapon skill levels are also a bit different in that they max out at Skill Level 20, gaining 0.5% each level. The amount of Rs/SRs you need to pour into each is also a bit weirder than GBF too. I don't have the complete chart/list for exactly how many skill pts you need to feed for each skill level up but since you've played GBF before it shouldn't be hard to tinker around with fodder.

You cannot use the summon auras of randoms; only friends. Also, there aren't multiple tabs for different element friend summons yet so you'll have to hope the people you friend never switch off of the summon you want to use.

There is no legfest in this game so feel free to blow your Jewels whenever you want since it's an eternal 3% SSR rate. There are also hime-less weapons in the gacha and no, none of them are Gisla or Crimson Finger tier as all weapons I've seen so far only have 1 passive skill and it's either Attack or HP up. Many of the summons are also dual-type summons like Vortex Dragon but it's the best the game has to offer for now until they put in 100/120 summons in the game later.

Union/Guild Wars work differently than GBF and there is no Sunlight Stone reward so don't even bother thinking about MLBing gacha summons unless you whale. Speaking of whaling, there's no sparking and there are no moons.

All in all it's pretty simple. Just farm up a base grid of SRs via the Normal/Hard raids in this game and take advantage of your main element's events to farm for SSR weapons and eidolon in the case you need it for a main summon. Just going to warn you now that it is extremely hard to exchange for all copies of a SSR via mats in order to MLB in the week that they give you to farm, so better pray for plat chest drops (flips). Unfortunate thing is that event SR weapons can also drop in these chests.

It's just like GBF in that the main goal outside of fucking/watching others fuck all the girls is strengthening your weapon pool. It's a slow process right now though, so don't expect to be able to play this game for hours straight for days because the game doesn't shit AP pots at you like GBF.

I forgot to also mention jobs. Decide on which Tier III you want to unlock early on first because Soul Pts, the equivalent of JP, are not too easy to come by in this game at this stage. My recommendation is going for Mordred as it is the Dark Fencer of the game: has a Mist + other debuffs in one skill, Pilfer, and Gravity. This line is also close to the Arthur/Weapon Master line, as Arthur requires the Arcana Sword equivalent. This means you can go Mordred -> Arthur in your path, which is nice since you'll get the Atk Mastery bonuses from Arthur's line along with Gawain's/Warrior Armor Break that you can use as an EX for Mordred for Def Down capping. I wouldn't really recommend going any other Tier III Soul as a beginner since I feel that it is fine to unlock those later as the most important thing in my opinion is stacking def debuffs to make it easier to kill bosses, as the game doesn't have any overly strong foes/raids that would justify using the HS/Bishop equivalents unless you want to try tackling on Ultimate difficulty at 10k power lower than the recommended or something.

If you're on DMM, the game gives a shit ton of skill up fodder every day now, and practically for free.

The new normal gacha gives tons of Rs, as well as ~10 half pots per day, now and you only need to do ~16 Expert gem quest runs per day to break/even make a profit at Rank 100+.(~8 half pots)

This union event revival also rewarded a lot of R grails(~39) and SR grails(~7).

I never got past the tutorial on my DMM account. My main account is on nutaku, unfortunately.

Sounds like there's a lot to look forward to, though. It'd be really nice if they arranged things so the nutaku version eventually caught up with the DMM version, via accelerated events (shorter duration but cheaper prices). I've only ever seen one game do this though.
