It's definitely worth a replay. You don't, however, get Akyuu until the party is strong enough to beat her dungeon, which is around 40ish. So there's a lot of redoing old shit while trying to kill stuff with her abysmally low stats early on.

Good luck in postgame if you ever pick it up, some of those bosses require some next level strategy to beat. I remember one dude I spent hours wiping on, until I switched to a two-man team of Alice and Sakuya, and spent the entire fight using cover on Sakuya while she used the 1% mana steal dagger to drain all 9999 of the dudes mana. After clearing the land back to neutral with commander, I was finally able to beat him.

I couldn't finish the expansion due to how hard it got. So I appreciated the game easing up on me with Weekend, and think that easing up even more is a good thing. Sengoku Gensokyo is fairly good. The strategic-level stuff is a bit limited and shallow, but the combat mechanics are pretty solid.

Gensokyo no Nazo is worth playing if you enjoy games where exploration is the focus. It also has a large number of playable characters. It's pretty light on RPG elements, though.

I got a boner when she used Punish the Judgment for the first time.

Some of the weapon crafting recipes really are quite annoying. One of them requires a weapon with 1000+ kills, a certain amount of experience so that it is at it's 3rd form and -50 upgrade points which you can only get by stepping on certain traps or getting hit by certain enemies.

I have been trying to create the recipe that requires an Evil Grudge Gem and a White Fox Nine Tails weapon. The Fox Tail is supposed to have the following conditions: Cursed, -50 Enchanced Points and kill count 1000+. I have a tail that is cursed, is at -50 thanks to using the dacay traps in dungeons over and over again and has 1292 kills. For some reason, the game does not accept it for the recipe.

What does it not accept that weapon? It just says "You don't have the ingedients." I do have the Evil Grudge Gem so it can't be because of that.

Gensowanderer comes with double focus if you get a physical copy. It's only $50 if you buy it digitally. The other touhou games are only $20-$30 I think. That's pretty expensive considering what they are. I think the only game on ps4 I would buy would be a Strawberry Bose collection or official games. Not many of the doujin games are good a bunch cant even be released on the ps4 due to copyright infringements as well.

I was originally pretty excited to see touhou games on ps4 but it's all been pretty shit so far.

Only the Aya DLC could be in any way worth it and that's only because you can find weapons that have the Multi Attack seal in it. But since you can also just craft sake that allows you to fuse Multi Attack on to weapons in the base game, even that becomes not really worth it.

I like how Kisume of all people is one of the strongest enemies in the game. Probably only beaten by Flandre and buffed Hijirin.

I remember someone saying that the jap leaderboards only accept dungeon runs that are done without any resets. I seriously wonder how you are supposed to beat most of the dungeons in the game without ever dying. Some of it is completely luck based.

I am on floor 49/50 of the dungeon that unlocks once you beat the 2nd tier of dungeons on the moon. There is absolutely no way for me right now to beat this floor because of RNG. A single huge floor filled with enemies like Flandre and Kisume. Flandre can hit everything on the floor for massive damage from anywhere. After 2 turns only all the Flandres and those super strong Kisume enemies are left alive and quickly kill my almost dead characters. I have no items to deals with this because the dungeon did not allow you to bring any and I didn't find the right items.

2,5 hours of dungeon crawling wasted because of RNG.

It's like a metroidvania but really basic and short. You swap between Aya and Momiji on the fly to use their abilities to navigate the maps. The real highlight of the game are the boss fights, but the combat is pretty basic so don't expect anything fancy. If you like basic platforming and aren't bothered by fanon secondary memes then it's a pretty cute game.

I have 2 or 3 hours into the game and I already have 60% of the game done. I wouldn't buy double focus on its own, it comes with its own disc in the physical edition of gensowanderer. I was lucky enough to snag the game on ebay for $20. I'm still on the fence about buying the gensowanderer dlc but I guess when I actually play the game and complete it I can make up my mind then.

I just unlocked a dungeon that has 1000 floors. Even with good weapons this one will take days to finish.

I made it to floor 18 of the 1000 floor dungeon before the game decided there should be a floor that only has the shop related characters as enemies, like Mamizou and her tanuki friends. Regular Mamizou already has 9999 HP, is immune to all effects and moves at tripple speed.

The weapon reincarnation system is pure autism if you want the best results. Getting the Hisou seal to maximum power requires a weapon that had at least 91 reincarnations to be reincarnated into Tenshi's sword. Then you need to level up the weapon to lvl 999.

It took me about 1 hour to fully explore and clear 20 floors with all the resets due to bullshit RNG. With weapon/armor/charm reincarnation and boss fights every 100 floors it will take probably between 600-700 hours to clear it.

It's a pretty fun game overall but some of it is just pure bullshit. There is so much stuff that can just screw you over without you being able to do anything about it. I swear that all the later dungeons that allow you to not bring any items are completely luck based, especially really gimicky ones.

The 1000 floor grind is also not mandatory and just endgame stuff. It's just also happens to be the best place to grind for stuff in the end since you get 2 times exp in it and the rarest drops.

I just started the game and got to floor 30ish and got my ass kicked by A Byakuren that shoved my shit in. Does anybody have some tips for somebody just starting out? I've been investing in the kappa jews to unlock more checkpoints but starting off at level 1 at a level 20+ floor doesn't exactly make it easier. Am I missing something here or do I have to just keep grinding items to the point until I wont be easily murdered?

Try to find something like Miko's Shaku or Sword of Courage. Both of those weapons are very strong. Miko's weapon looks kinda shitty early on but it gets 9 seals for extra damage for almost everything once it levels up a bit. Fuse your weapons so that you can get extra attack range and skills related to healing when killing/hitting enemies.

Using a one handed weapon + armor is the safest way to play. Mokou's ribbon can learn counterattack when leveled up a bit which can really help, especially against enemies that hit multiple times. You can potentially counter every single one of their attacks.

For enemies specifically: Byakuren is one of the strongest random encounters especially once she buffs herself. Best to hit her with danmaku and your extra weapon range before she gets close so that you can finish her off right away. If she glows blue almost all your attacks will miss and only danmaku can even really hit her. Always keep your partner close by for extra damage output. Enemies like Byakuren can solo Futo if you leave her on her own.

Also, the game makes it look like you are forced to exit the dungeon completely if you die, but If you instead close the game after dying you can actually retry the floor you were on. This is extremely helpful. Sometimes RNG just fucks you over.

Normally the shopkeepers are almost impossible to beat. But they don't scale with the other enemies in the 1000 floor dungeon so Reimu can actually get away with stealing and beating them all up once she has a high level.

Look at that fucking floor and it's enemy selection. This is the kind of level that tells you to get the fuck outa there and upgrade your weapons already. Funniest thing is that I am actually winning against all of them but it takes forever to kill even a single one. A new one tends to walk into the room and take over right away.

When do you unlock reincarnation? I got to dungeon where I have Reisen and I'm having trouble with my weapons. I've been grinding up a tengu blade and it's been pretty good so far but its capped at level 60. I've also been using mokous ribbon but I kind of want to change it because the phoenix is really big and dumb looking.

Are there certain seals I should be trying to get as well? I've seen videos of people having their normal attacks ranged but I havn't found anything like that, only range+ and penetrate attack as well.

You need Hieda Scrolls to use reincarnation. You get your first by fusing all those pages you got for beating the dungeons on the moon. Beating the Emergency! dungeon is the first time you can a scroll. You can later get more scrolls as rewards for clearing the new dungeons you unlock.

Most important seal in the game is Cure, which restores your HP when you deal damage. You can get it from the Feather Duster Thingy weapon. Combine that with the Vitality Enchancement skill that the Goopy Banana Bunch armor has which increases the healing rate of everything and you will heal so much HP with every attack.

There is also stuff like Hisou, Multi Level Attack, One-Hit Kill, Attack Range up, Penetrate Attack, Defense Ignore. Really, there are a ton of good seals to have. Becomes more important once you can reincarnate into weapons and carry over their yellow seals though.

3 golden chests spawn on the map with random items in them (2 of which were actually just the Sake that reduce damage from bosses) and you get 2 Hieda Scrolls as a reward. The picture you get on the result screen is just the Reimu and Satori picture from earlier quests.

Dungeon is really not worth the effort. You get 5 scrolls on the moon by just clearing Golden House, which takes 30 minutes if you have good items and the game speed at max. No new quest unlocked after beating this hell raven.

I just Beat Kokoro, how do I actually proceed in the story now? Do I do the dungeon in Reisens room or do the rest of the Bunny Land? Also how long to 99 floor dungeons usually take? I feel like it's something I would spend an entire night doing. It's pretty frustrating how I'm trying to level up my sword to max level to reincarnate it and all the dungeons available to me right now are no item or dumb gimmicks involved.

I really enjoy this game but sometimes it's really hard to just pick up and play, it's really overwhelming.
