Lately I got interested in japanese tee (sencha and oolong) and as I'm ordering stuff from japan soon (with a proxy) I was wondering if you guys could suggest some japanese tee websites. Else I'd just order from amazon.jp.

I bought a box of tea that spelled it tee. It was pretty good. Hopefully I don't get cancer from it.

Did you get it from Germany?

I order Japanese teas mainly from https://yunomi.us/
And Chinese teas from http://teaspring.com/

Been drinking a bit more tea recently because I've come down with a flu and sore throat.

Are you in the US? If so, you don't need to use a proxy - there are plenty of decent places that will ship here. Have you had any tea yet, or are you just starting to try it?

Don't order from Amazon

Oolong isn't Japanese. It's traditionally Taiwanese and, to a lesser extent, mainland Chinese.

However, either way, don't buy your tea off amazon.jp, it's stale. I get sencha from o-cha, they have a good seasonal selection, good prices, and great quality with fast shipping. Nitrogen vacuum-sealed so the tea won't oxidize until you open it, and it's reaal good!

Enjoy, anon
