Good thing nothing of that happened to her. She was saved before that.

The orphanage and her parent die were bad, but other than that, she had a quite happy childhood with her grandfather, studied hard and joined the elite part of society and had a successful relationship with Tomitake.

People seems to think you need to pity Takano, but her backstory is mostly there to make you understand why she's devoted to her grandpa.

>Yeah, that's why she has a major complex over it.

I didn't say I don't care, I'm saying that as bad it was, nothing happened to her personally. She wasn't raped or suffered any major injury, and she was smart/strong enough to not let her the events she witnessed completely dictate her future.

Once she was free from her orphanage, she was able to live a fulfilling life. The orphanage itself was a VERY SMALL part of her childhood.

I dunno mate, she seems like she was traumatized by what she witnessed.
Remember her fascination with torture and how she details that thing Roman did, with the guts.

It's so nostalgic every time.
You will never read umineko for the first time, get hyped beyond belief when things happen and you don't expect them, getting wrapped up in the mystery/magic and trying to understand what's going on.

What's your favourite moment that was accompanied by a music piece?
For me it has to be the George fight, mortal stampede is just too good, coupled with the moment, and the way it kept alternating with Victima Propiciatoria and the Jessica fight.

It was absurd.

Friends I recommend Hateshinaku Aoi, Kono Sora no Shita de… to you.

It's basically Higurashi, but good.

>Aozora is a surprisingly multi-layered work which gradually shifts focus over the course of its narrative, impending developments escalating by the route. Beginning stages focus on an insular rural community struggling against the onslaught of modernization, unable to take a stand against an increasingly ruthless politician who has taken to ruling with an iron fist. His arrival marks a change, very much serving as a figurehead for the times-a-changin’ so is caricatured as such. Such a contrast conjures up an ‘us vs. them’ dichotomy to an almost cartoonish degree, all Saturday morning cartoon swagger as The Bad Guy practically coos about developing golf courses and similar amenities, turning their once peaceful village into a gaudy tourist resort. However there is an ominous undercurrent with local legends suggesting that chaos will ensue if the village’s balance is disrupted, and it isn’t long before a tale of cultural piety unravels as archaic ruinous powers come to light….

Meanwhile, Natsuno Yuuki, an antisocial youth from the city, is haunted by the sudden death of Megumi and must realize the pain of friendship in the face of his own tragedy. >Eva is a rich bitch on a island which worse thing that happened was NOT GOING TO COLLEGE, THE HORROR.
You're downplaying her suffering.

Henri Laborit described two method of actions humans can do. Conquer/fight or submit. Perpetual anxiety is formed when a person is unable to fight but does not want to submit. This arguably creates the worst type of suffering. Eva had this for a large portion of her life. She had the means to become successful but was never allowed to get the education to become what she wanted.

A good example of this suffering is bullying Or >>15804251
When you're bullied, you don't want to fight them because it gives them a reaction, causing them to want to bully you even more so you can react again. She doesn't want to give up and let herself be bullied but she cannot fight.
She's stuck is a state of perpetual anxiety. Henri Laborit called it Inhibition de l'action (the action of inhibition).

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yMFmsYbwcLU

Eva had it the worst because she had this done over a period of decades and her revenge plan was the piece of shit George who was too overly protected.

Many of Ryukishi's character face this type of suffering. It is the worst form of suffering humans can endure.

>> No.15806478

>>15806450
Oh and I guess there is a third action, which is simply running away. But that does not work with goal oriented creatures such as humans who purposefully put themselves in stress inducing situations to obtain something.

Eva could've ran, but she didn't.
She could have just given up, ignored her talents and become a submissive housewife, but she didn't.
She had to fight, but she wasn't able to fight head on. She had to suffer quietly for decades.

Since it was given up, I might as well give the answer.

Lion killed all the adults after stealing Krauss' key, and then killed Battler's parents.
Jessica surprised him, but he couldn't shoot her, so he missed, accidentally blinding her. After that, he ended killing pretty much everyone, except for that Maria that he drugged, throw on a raft and send the raft away.
Erika died like a bitch after looking for (and finding) the secret mansion. She slipped on a few wet rocks and fell to her death.
On the ninth twilight, Battler confronted Lion, shot him and killed him.

The idea was that Lion and Battler were in love, except that this time, Lion acted alone and got carried away, causing Battler to get horrified and kill him to avenge Rudolf's and Kyrie's death.

Except Battler didn't know about the bomb, Rokkenjima was levelled, and Maria drowned during the tempest, so everyone died. The end.

The gang correctly find the weakpoint of the enemy and exploit it (which is ironically the single point the 34 manual was meant to cover up with all its scientific bullshit). They all get cornered, without a way out, every breaks down trying to figure a way out, with Rena just saying fuck Shion, just run. Rika has to accept her death, it's great. But both Will and Erika had more handicaps than Battler (although I'll admit Will didn't really need them.) Battler had no Detective's Authority or Theatergoing Authority. He couldn't even use Blue Truth until the 4th game, so all he could do was ask Beatrice to repeat things in red and hope that she responded. Plus he was so emotionally involved early on that he wouldn't even try to reason when it came to suspecting one of the 18. Compared to that, Bern and Lambda pretty much rigged Episode 5 to let Erika win. And when she actually goes against Beatrice at the end of Episode 6 she doesn't fair any better than Battler had.

>Supposedly a mystery buff

I'll agree with you there. I still don't understand why they never bothered to mention that at any point during the first 4 games.

Except learning how Tomitake died was never important to solving the mystery or finding the murder.

I would actually argue that Takano's death was more bullshit than Tomitake. Because while Tomitake had a red herring of having multiple people killing him and a scene where a doctor saying that there are no known drugs that can cause his death, Takano had dental records confirming her death. That's pretty much a red truth level of evidence. Ryukishi tried to untangle that red herring in ep 2 and ep 3 when he pointed out that Takano was still alive and around even though she should've been dead miles away in some forgotten forest. But because of the dental record, people were paranoid and saw her being alive as some sort of clone or alien.

It's hard to imagine and think of a solution to a mystery when you're paranoid.

I read it more in the opposite way, but it depends on where you are in Season 3. My overall take of RGD is that culture and history is built up on small moments no one notices that are adopted by the masses and that protecting your history is important. But because Japan doesn't protect its history, it's shit.
If anything, the westernization of the world created more ''STRONG'' women and the overall patriarchy of men in Japan has ended.

You also have the backward notion that immigrants and culture are dangerous which it isn't so long as they also integrate your own culture. Japan was defeated, its government simply a puppet government and the only nationalism left was in the mafia.
There is no ''guide'' to keeping Japan japanese because the Japanese do not care about their culture.

The overall theme of RGD is anti-nationalism, not nationalism. Even so, Japan's culture is ruined and it is replaced by a pure cosmopolitan supercountry with multitude of culture and intrigue as the reporter girl explains. The last Japanese doesn't even care about her own culture and likes what Japan has become.

>> No.15811241

>>15811188
Not really, what I have read so far in RGD is the attempt to revive culture and nationalism at heart. It criticizes the japs for being unable to protect history, being lazy people, but it also places the hope that future japanese can become nationalist and are guided to take back the country.
>If anything, the westernization of the world created more ''STRONG'' women and the overall patriarchy of men in Japan has ended.
RGD is basically anti-westernization, Rose, despite being a female, wants the society to return to pre-war period, and the patriarchy of men still remains the same, men still control everything, money, guns, even the gangs, just that Rose cares and guides them in place, acting as the charismatic leader of the group.

>You also have the backward notion that immigrants and culture are dangerous which it isn't so long as they also integrate your own culture.
It isn't backward, RGD makes the case of the chinese immigrants, even in their most integrated cases, are meant to fulfill chinese mafia and military's own ends, as in the case of chinese customers and merchants severely affecting the distribution of City 23 simply for being able to peddle their goods there.
>There is no ''guide'' to keeping Japan japanese because the Japanese do not care about their culture.
The guide is supposed to be about making the japs caring about their culture again, revival of their culture through various means like food culture, or economic protectionism i.e. City 23 having their own closed distribution.
The whole theme so far is the mafia trying to tell the reporter girl to care about her nation again, which is nationalism, and it's actually working. Thus showing nationalism in positive light.

There is no revival. The Japanese lost and the only thing they are doing is prolonging the inevitable. All Rose did was try and make it easier for people to enjoy their cultural tradition but at the first sign of hardship, people threw away their culture for nothing.

>it also places the hope that future japanese can become nationalist and are guided to take back the country.
And it lost. The last Japanese didn't care about their culture and the mafia Rose built has become entirely mafia oriented, a shell of its roots.

>RGD is basically anti-westernization
Westernization paved the way for women to have more power and break the shackles of patriarchy. It's the main reason why today's Japan is fucked. It didn't value its own culture and accepted westernization to the point where they are having an identity crisis.

>RGD makes the case of the chinese immigrants, even in their most integrated cases, are meant to fulfill chinese mafia and military's own ends, as in the case of chinese customers and merchants severely affecting the distribution of City 23 simply for being able to peddle their goods there.
I was talking about immigration in general, not in RGD. Japan lost the war. In RGD, it essentially became a failed state until other states such as the US and China came over to take control. The Chinese mafia work closely with the Chinese government to expand because they know they can rule through number. There was never an opportunity to integrate because there was no integration. The Chinese were only expanding. The Japanese simply refused to accept that they had lost the war and pretended that nothing had changed when everything changed. They lost their government and were at the mercy of foreign affairs.
Actual immigration is different than what you see in RGD because immigrants integrate (usually) within a country to have a better life. In RGD, the Chinese and US purposefully force immigration to take over.

There are no real world parallels to learn from on the topic of immigration.

>The guide is supposed to be about making the japs caring about their culture again, revival of their culture through various means like food culture, or economic protectionism i.e. City 23 having their own closed distribution.
And look where that got them? Turning their back on their own culture for a few pennies. The Japanese were fighting a cultural war that never had a means of winning. All Rose did was prolong the inevitable. The Soy Sauce War showed that when you break down cultural collectivism to the individual who only thinks about himself, culture without a state to enforce its protection breaks down. Simply leaving people to protect their own culture is not enough.

>Westernization paved the way for women to have more power and break the shackles of patriarchy. It's the main reason why today's Japan is fucked. It didn't value its own culture and accepted westernization to the point where they are having an identity crisis.
And? Rose basically wants to take it all back, she wants society to return to pre-war period, where westernization is only applied to technology.
>Actual immigration is different than what you see in RGD because immigrants integrate (usually) within a country to have a better life. In RGD, the Chinese and US purposefully force immigration to take over.
Well, this is wrong, because as history shows, you can indeed invade the state to defend the ethnic immigrants located in the enemy's country, such is the reason Hitler invaded Poland and Putin invaded Crimea, that's relatively common in history.
>There are no real world parallels to learn from on the topic of immigration.
Wrong. See above.
>. All Rose did was prolong the inevitable. The Soy Sauce War showed that when you break down cultural collectivism to the individual who only thinks about himself, culture without a state to enforce its protection breaks down. Simply leaving people to protect their own culture is not enough.
Rose lost the Soy Sauce War, but after it, she tried to get to get City 23 to have independence distribution zone, by playing the american merchants against the chink merchants, so in place that japs can sell stuff to japs. Rose knows full well she lost the war, thus her strategy is about playing the enemy against another enemy.

>Well, this is wrong, because as history shows, you can indeed invade the state to defend the ethnic immigrants located in the enemy's country, such is the reason Hitler invaded Poland and Putin invaded Crimea, that's relatively common in history.
Those were bullshit excuses to invade a country. After WW2 ended, Hitler lost and the polish were allowed to have their own state. It might have been different if Hitler had not lost.

Crimea is a different story since the people there considered themselves more Russian than Ukrainian. It would be as though the Japanese were speaking Chinese and eating Chinese food, happy that they're being annexed

TEA PARTY CHAPTER 7 - Purple Truth Game

Longer than the usual chapters I write. Keep in mind this is my first Purple Truth game. There may be multiple ways to solve it but I tried to make my solution the only one that is possible. These games are very tiring and hard to make. I think you will either find this too easy or too hard. No middle ground here. Anyway, enjoy it.

Tri is weird as fuck
The galge story is a VN Mikihiko from country plays since he's a neet loner now or something after the time skip.
You can make choices during it, if you pick the wrong ones you actually get a game over outside the VN and have to start over from a checkpoint.

The deal is that Alice is changing the course of events in the country fragment to influence the outcome of the space fragment, with further information on how to do so being included in the galge. Here she's erasing something that someone was about to say, before this she dialed a number on someone's phone.

It's safe to say that Alice is pretty OP. Hanyuu's powers are still the worst, even the woodland spirit in the galge can at least make pretty effects happen on screen.

Usagi reveals a 4th fragment where all three of the fragments have come together and all the characters that Alice has become attached to are united all in once place. After reminding Alice how meaningless her life is, Usagi opens a path for her to finally join them, truly this time. Alice commits suicide by hanging herself from cables in her room, though the scene after the final credits is a bit open to interpretation and she may have survived .

#1 There are 3 culprits.

#2 An easy way to spot lies or shady statements is when someone alone says something but the others don't mention it. On the other hand, if lots of people say or mention something it is most likely true.

#3 The places that are sealed are really sealed off.

#4 But somehow, it appears the culprit is someone not included in the group of survivors.....Actually this is really important.
