It's exactly this, it's quite off putting, especially if it's an artist I used to sort of look up to, or relate to through their music. While they might be feeling like climbing stairs, to me it's opposite, I'm losing respect for them and what made them "unique" is just dead.

I suppose but still it's disappointing to support a producer who uses your favorite chinese anime girl singing synth and suddenly they take the money you've spent over the years on obtaining singles and albums and pisses it away on signing to a label to work with a subpar utaite or who tier singer.

But that's not all, then the albums they do pump out with the new singer never resemble the Vocaloid hits they used to make. The new music they make sounds more soulless than 2007 Miku V2 singing off key for a cover using midi instrumentals. At that stage, the cold machine sound isn't from someone messing around with Vocaloid 1, it's the producer on their last breaths trying to make a deadline for their new album and photo meet and greet at select Animate shops. The utaite then scrambles to make his/her next stylist appointment so that they look ready for the camera and inevitable press release.

There are a few exceptions to this rule but when it happens to your favorite producer, it hurts so bad to see them spiral down into nothing.

Got into Vocaloid because of kous back when it all started, followed him closely every day always waiting for every single of his PVs/new releases; no other vocaP had this much impact on me although I listen to quite a lot of stuff. Forward year 2014 he stops making Vocaloid music, or just release one random song on a compil or something then announces he's going to work with some random utaite. Proceeds to make shit music.

The visuals are also goddamn awful, it stinks hipster shits. Her voice doesn't fit his style (or at least the one he had) at all. He used to always write really melancholic, depressing or bittersweet songs and she sings like some fat gyaruko, it's just shit, fuck this.

He might have never been popular (because his style wasn't for everyone) he truly had something special and I loved the works he would do with hie and ef. I also love Reol and everything they work together on is great, but it wouldn't be the same thing without Vocaloid.

I agree with everyone else here, it's awful to see producers trying to move on from Vocaloid only to fail miserably. I get that they want to make something on their own and be able to put their face on it, but a lot of the time just being talented isn't enough to make it in the music industry, you have to be marketable, and that´s where Vocaloid really shines.

I didn't play the Fs so I don't know how that system worked, but from what I can tell, it brings up a little interface that looks like a video editor, with 4 tracks: ステージ演出、　ワンショット演出、　ライト、　カメラ。 I think the first two are stage effects and one-shot effects, the last two are clearly light and camera. Playing on this is surprisingly fun. The buttons aren't quite as stiff as I'd like, although I'm sure I could swap the springs, but the upstroke is pretty poppy, so that's nice. they also actuate like immediately, maybe 5mm actuation point, so if you don't keep your fingers up, you'll accidentally trigger one by bumping it. What is with the scoring in FT? I can be getting an E for 60% of a track, miss a few of those multi button prompts and suddenly I can hardly hold a G, miss a few more notes and now I can't even get a G
