When you leave the station, you'll be faced with pic related. Head LEFT. You'll be facing the sega building. (That is one of the places you should go.) But instead of crossing the road to the Sega building, go left again. You'll see a big tall building, it'll have anime stuff all over the front of it. Go in there, have a look in the glass cases. People are displaying their own stuff they've done. Then go up floor by floor. Make sure to REALLY look around at all the stuff. You can find amazing deals and hidden treasures.

Now head on over to the Sega building with your goods you bought. First few floors are just crane games. You can avoid those until you get the idea of what cranes pay out and which are rigged. (Hint: all of them) Sega building has some nice older games as well as new games on the floors above the crane games. Be careful, there are male only and female only toilets on different floors.

Next, head long back across the road and follow the main road. You'll find small little stores, music ones with idol stuff, anime stores, etc etc. Have a little wander around into those. I recommend the ones just outside the arcades, they'll often have goods (marked up) from the crane games. Like pic related.

Now keep going along that side of the road after freaking out and accidentally going up to the porn sections. Maybe head into another arcade, they tend to be basically the same. But if you go into one that has a staircase from the second floor down to the first, then you are in the good one. Tons of games to play, vending machines with ice cream and interesting drinks. The elevator/lift are the best ways to get back down from there (Tis a trap, watch out!)

Now head off along that road and go into Donki, it is a discount store, not sure what will be in there, but you can get lots of cheap stuff. Right outside there are some instant food places, I recommend the yakitori.

Not much beyond that on the main road, so head across the road to the other side. Head back down toward the sega building direction. Even more anime stores, but you'll find an electronics store that sells power packs. They are useful as fuck for when you've forgot to charge your phone/tablet/remote vibrator.

You into curry? you won't miss the big yellow gorilla curry building. Go in their if you hate your anus. The rest is easy to spot anime stores.

Be careful when you wander down the back streets, some shady as fuck maid cafes ran by gangsters. But you can find some great book stores and cafes with cheap but amazing food. Actual steaks for a third of the price of the main stores.
Other than that it is up to you. Lots of hidden gems.
Avoid the chinese tourists.
Avoid the orange robe wearing monks, they will scam you out of money.

Not that guy, but I've been into one before. They charge you before you go in. Even though they pressured you to go in. Then they have a charge for the girl you want, which in a normal maid cafe doesn't happen. You can't hire a girl most of the time, they just come out randomly. Anyway, then you'll be charged super high amounts of drinks and you have to buy a certain amount, also food. Then they'll throw hidden charges in they never told you about for time spent there and service fees. Then once you are walking out with no clothes and a contract to the gang boss, they'll tell you to come back tomorrow or they'll find you.
