I've seen auctions for used MDDs once in a while on yahoo japan auctions. If you have months to spend you can just watch it every day for new auctions and maybe get a decent deal.

Mind you, those auctions usually includes heads, hair and clothing. It's someone else's second hand loli.

This is an Obitsu body. I'm biased, but I personally think they are better than MDD bodies. They have superior posing abilities and parts are more readily available.

The only catch is afaik you will need an adaptor piece to fit a Volks head to an Obitsu body but they are commercially available.

i been experimenting with my DDS SS Bust i bought and here is a line up of the L, M, and SS busts that someone might find helpful.

So what i started down this road an SS bust was not and option. But a short year later and such things flow like water. So should I stick this on Cake or Cherry? or do i hold onto it because i probably will be buying a Mayu at some point.

Generally if a chick has a G cup (like the DD L shapely bust), the woman will carry around more weight on other parts of her body, making her look proportional (of course there are exceptions, like girls who have to have reduction surgery. I've met two of these girls and it really improved their confidence and back pain).

That said after some thought I realized something. I bought that witch outfit because I loved it but I did not love Strawberry wearing it. Also people here did not like what Strawberry was wearing when she was not a little witch.

So I put Grumpy Cookie in the Witch outfit with a larger hat to be acquired later. Also replaced the eyes with the only other ones I have. They are too dark and lame so those need to be replaced. Over all she looks better and more Grumpy then before. Definitely will come alive and stab me in my sleep!

I thought about this question a bit more, and here's what I realized. I own 3 MDD dolls, who are meant to be little girls based on their body shape and outfits.

Little girls are taboo in society (U.S) for a guy like me. I'm in my early 30s and single. No wife, no girlfriend, no children. For me to even look at a little girl for more than a few seconds in public is considered bad/creepy, and would draw the attention of the girl's parents or any nearby self righteous adult. And if I were to have a conversation with a little girl without a woman supervising either her or me, why that's even worse. I said I would do it so here is ShoujoA-chan. She has no neck piece (her head is just sitting on the torso vinyl), a broken shoulder, two broken hips and a broken ankle. I made her body up out of the broken and spare parts I had lying around. Except for the neck she has a complete (albeit broken) body. Which I guess I shouldn't be proud of since it means I've broken an entire body's worth of parts.

I bought this head as an unfinished project, the previous owner had tried to widen the eye holes but gave up. The holes were the wrong circumference and even 20mm eyes foul on the outer edges but still have gaps towards the centre. I had another go and damaged her faceup in the process so she's been living in purgatory ever since. But now I have the money to buy a proper mini dremel tool I'm considering having another go.
