There will always be some annoying flying enemy to fight. If it's not bats it's bees that put you to sleep and shoot stingers at you. If it's not bees it's little dragons that breathe fire at you. If it's not little dragons it's ghosts that cast spells and feint away from attacks. If it's not ghosts it's harpies that cause confusion and heal themselves and other enemies.

So it's more like "enjoy practicing on the easy flying enemies before the game throws more annoying ones at you."

In the Options menu, it's the 4th option for keyboard controls, 5th option for controller controls, 6th option for analog controls. I can't access the controller options so I can't tell you what's in them.

Here is an update before I turn in for the night. It would probably be more useful to explain what spells do exactly, particularly for buffs/debuffs, but I'm too lazy to fit it all in. You can figure out sword techniques yourself by just looking in the menu for the input commands and trying them out; I hate translating flowery martial arts crap and they all just deal damage anyway.

The spell Shield doesn't do anything for water. Sana can breathe underwater by herself any time if you're playing as her, or you can use the spell Mermaid Robe (if you have it) to let everyone breathe underwater.

Does anyone have a complete list of moves that Arche can perform? At the paltry level of 5 all I can contribute is the following(fightan gaem controls, numpad = directions, a = attack as usual):

a+8a: 2 hit combo from her downward slash into an upward slash with about half a set forward.
66+8a: Usual dash and slash is replaced with a launcher which stops her charge as well.
(while in mid-air) 2+a: Downward thrust/impale can be applied while moving horizontally.

There are resurrection items, but you probably don't have access to them right then.

Well you should be healing her if she gets low, don't just rely on her healing alone. Also if she's running out of MP and dying because she can't heal then you should set the magic use thing to healing only.

Assuming you're already doing all that, there are a couple of not-so-great tricks you can use. If Sana dies but you think you can do the same room better, kill off Arche and then choose to try again; you'll be outside the entrance to the room as you were before you entered. Also, most puzzles stay solved after you exit the area, so you can make a mad dash to flip a switch or two, die, return to town, then go back and have those switches still be flipped.

It's also marked with an orange line.

Basically the large colored parts are obstacles, and the corresponding small colored parts are the switch/lever/etc. that removes that obstacle. For most of that specific dungeon, the obstacles are water that you have to enter with Sana, then flip a switch later on to allow Arche to pass.

The reason it looks like it does (crudely drawn, kana for all labels) is that it is supposed to have been drawn by Arche.

I really enjoyed this game. The story was cute, the gameplay was fun, and it was reasonably difficult.

Can /jp/ suggest any other RPGs with an all-loli cast?
