Until you complete the game, complain its too easy and play expert mode. Expert mode should be called stress mode. It is stressful as fuck to progress because everything common mob has basically 4x deadliness minimum. Double health and double damage. Some mobs have extra attacks, more advanced AI, like crazy aimbot-like AI. Some extra things like lava slimes leave a block of lava when it dies.

Bosses become unfair. Like kaizo mario level unfair. Eye of cthulu was hard as fuck on 400hp and a minishark when in normal mode, 150~ hp was more than enough to kill it.

I started playing with a complete newb to the game on expert mode, hes a good mate and we play cs together. Since im a huge minmaxer and i love to complain a lot, i felt that he probably wouldnt like that so we're just really playing for fun. Like with wood armor we tried to go as deep as possible, exploring marble caves and desert undergrounds just having fun instead of fully digging gold/platinum, making a functional 100% overkill base. We just have a little shack and i couldnt ask for more. Just enjoy the multiplayer experience :)

I did just kill skeletron and cleared the dungeon so all thats left for me is to find some ice skates to make frostspark boots and then its off to hardmode for me. And if my autism takes hold again, maintain world purity by building a gigantic 5 wide encasing 800 blocks down on two sides, and 2000 blocks long. I think it took me 3 days last time but fuck me it was satisfying.
