What the hell?

I wrote that exact post in a thread I made on /jp/ about the C;H ending. Why is it in the moot thread?

This day will be remembered in our hearts as the day moot destroyed the value of the ban hammer. Moot fails at economics. Doesn't he know that if he keeps giving out bans the value of the bans will decrease. Back in my days you had to post v& worthy content in order to receive a 1 day b&. It's people like moot who destroyed the American dollar.

Pic related.

What was moot trying to accomplish by staging an event in Japan?

Did he really want to know what the Japs thought about 4chan? I wouldn't be surprised if only 10 people in Japan knew about 4chan.

Moot a) blocked their IPs and b) never created a board for Japanese users. I searched nicodouga for 4chan related things and it's almost non existent. And the weeaboos at futaba and 2ch rarely talk about 4chan. We care a lot about their stuff but they couldn't care less about our stuff. They probably only see 4chan as a second rate imagehost site.

Moot must have (recently) unbanned their IPs.

Wow, that just strengthens my point. Even after moot unbanned their IPs they still dont post.

I've seen threads on /b/ where people were posting on 2chan via a proxy. Even the non-weeaboos of 4chan are curious about Japan. That's how much 4channers care about Japan. But I've never seen a Japanese person post on 4chan.

4chan unblocked Japanese IPs ages ago...like 2006 I think? The Japanese people lurk and don't post. There's actually a lot of Japanese traffic on the board, has shown by some graph moot posted a while ago that I didn't care enough to save.

>> No.1452469

According to the history books, moot said the bandwidth doubled because of the high amount of lurkers from Japan. I guess that must have been a lie. Japan doesn't seem to know about 4chan's existence. Otherwise there would be a lot more post from 2ch and futaba.
