I go to a stylist because I want my hair to look extra fabulous and they're always asking me dumb shit. I don't mind simple conversation but I have literally nothing to talk about. I also feel more comfortable when I get the gay guy to do my hair instead of one of the women.

I probably would be mistaken for a girl too since I'm already short and skinny and have girly hands, but I have a constant five o clock shadow because I'm too lazy to shave often. I just shave once on Sunday and by the time the next Sunday rolls around it's just long enough to be annoying again.

I fucking hate that. Every time I get my hair cut they always have to ask the same formulaic questions when it's obvious that they don't have any real interest in the answer. It gets especially bad when they start asking you about your hobbies and friends. I think it would be less awkward to just sit there in silence for 15 minutes.

I simply do not get hair cuts for over 6 months at a time at least. Even though I rarely adventure into the "normal" world, I don't mind engaging in conversation. Unless, of course, they tell me what my hair should look like.

Most hikki have long hair... I haven't gotten a haircut in over 2.5 years.

I haven't gone to a barber in over 7 years. I haven't combed it in 7 years either.

Have to shave it every two weeks for the consistent buzz cut though.

Just because it's a bad cut doesn't necessarily mean you did it. The guy probably won't even say anything to you, and if he does, blame it on someone else. Presumably you're too old to be living with your mom, so just say your friend did it.

I would like to get my hair cut, since before it was shorter and I liked how it looked. But I tried cutting it myself once it got too long, so now it looks stupid if it's not tied back, and I don't want the barber to be like "DID YOU TRY TO DO THIS YOURSELF" and I would be like "NO IT'S JUST A COINCIDENCE"

Cutting your own hair is easy and saves a lot of money in the long run. Almost two years ago I bought a set of clippers for $25 and figure that at $12 a haircut at my old barber, I'd paid myself back by the third haircut.
