You shouldn't be thinking of it as much like any VN you've played before, it's probably going to be a kind of gentle, mysterious fantasy with a very powerful and singular atmosphere, with little to no retarded moe or unfunny comedy.

I realize this will likely make you even less interested, but I wanted to point it out. Only thing I'm worried about is that it they'll be made to write something more populist and less unique, and it'll end up what >>1327914 described.

The only eroge from Liar-soft I would consider "godly" are Forest and Sekien no Inganock, not to say that the other are bad of course.

They're considered godly by people who tend to be dissatisfied with the average eroge, which is really the point I of most of what I was saying. They are not necessarily the greatest games ever or godly by virtue of overflowing awesome, but they're seen as having a lot of value for being atypical - but, of course, people who value that are not the typical eroge fan so they're not percieved as godly so widely as, say Clannad or suchlike.

I think there's porobably a greater number of people who'd enjoy them here than in the average Jap erogamer crowd.

Anyways you shouldn't take it so seriously, people like what they like, for example Forest is one of my favorite alongside Clannad(SHOCK), or eroge like Swan Song or Tsuyokiss.
