In terms of wota fanbases, Maimai and Misa were definitely pushing on her position, and with Ikuta being the center of the 10th single she was falling below her aswell.

I think if Sayuringo didn't get caught being a whore, she would still have slipped significantly in popularity. Her buriko character had been getting grating as fuck. I think her scandal affected the group as a whole more than it affected her to be honest. They were/are at the point of expanding into more mainstream appeal, but now a lot of people think of Nogizaka as the 不倫 group.
