Seira and Kinchan were always SKE's gravure idols. They always wanted to go into gravure and modelling which is a reason why they left. You can't release stuff like this whilst under the AKB48 banner.

The issues aren't with the girls. It's with the management. Apparently it's extremely toxic and they bully the girls. Because the girls are treated badly by management and management blame poor perfomances on the girls, the girls turn on each other.

It took a long time to happen because strong influences in SKE such as Nishishi, Mieko, Yukko etc kept things in check. But they're all gone or leaving now. SKE is going to be a rek. I can't understand why Akimoto has left such massive inept retards manage SKE.

I'm pretty sure being a member does not prevent you from making progress in your gravure/modeling career path. They probably joined SKE expecting to be able to do gravure for popular magazines, but realized that wasn't happening so they left and settled for the low-tier DVDs.

The SKE graduation thing is pretty interesting, the members who graduate tend to be members who were pushed at some point, but SKE spread out their promotion between members compared to other groups so I guess thats to be expected.After their push if a member didn't make a big impact they could see that as a reason to leave, I mean it makes sense.

The other explanation is that we think SKE have a higher graduation rate because we know more of their members because their promotion of members is more spread out.Plenty of girls graduate and I have no idea who the fuck they are because the other groups tend to push a set few and then continue to push those few once the make the ranks of AKB.

SKE is a sinking ship that management is trying to repair several years too late because they wanted to play it safe with what worked. And what worked was the WMastui. From the start until the announcement of Ryoha/Miyamae center everything was arguably wmastui. The baton touch was needed, but extremely late. There were pushed members but management failed to make any impact. Unless SKE with the upcoming new gen can do something different, it's going to continue bleed out.

The thing is that if you read it as French it actually reads as "an germe" (not "anger me" or "angerme") which is "germ" in French (an -> similar to the pronounciation of the masculine "un" preceding "germe"), so it doesn't really make sense or an attractive name for an idol in French either... that'll be awkward if the group will have events in the US and France like some other H!P groups.

And as a cherry on top of all this misery, apparently the suggestion, along with the explanation, was copied from a contest for a jewelry brand name that had suggestions public on the Internet. One of the members suggested it, scrapping 10 000 fan suggestions to opt for ANGERME. Great job, management, A+.

It was actually S/mileage, or more specifically the 2nd gen audition /jp/ thread, that got me into idols so this is all very sad to me.
