I was gonna say something along those lines. It shows how good a character she is that in a story centered around shit going wrong constantly, she's never one of the things that goes wrong. She's also so badass she carries around that gun all the time and never uses it.

Well, you can get the syndrome just from stress as well. I don't think its not that Mion can't get it, just that perhaps its more rare.

Rika has been through countless kakera and is the only one completely immune to the syndrome, if someone else like Mion never once showed symptoms it would have been important to her.

I get the feeling Mion's training played a huge role in her not bending to Hinamizawa syndrome. Being in a yakuza family, she knows how to deal with others and plan ahead accordingly. She's learned valuable life skills that the average kid doesn't learn until much later on. Instead of running away with problems, she's forced to deal with them head on. She's not even given the choice to run away, like Shion.

Does anyone have that one image where Kei is giving Rena a bear he won shooting down some things in a game (he still has the toy gun in hand, I think), and in the background Mion can be seen looking at them, depressed? I really liked that image, but can no longer find it.

She had the best arc, but I can't remember which one is which anymore.

I now wanna see a Mion arc where she gets the syndrome. I already have a few ideas but don't feel like writing fanfics

There was a TIP or something where she goes nuts over wanting to fuck Keiichi. The only arc where she goes nuts outright is the 1996 arc where she 'inhabits' Shion's body.

One could also argue that she goes nuts after that one arc where she and Keiichi actually get out of Hinamizawa and start dating an crap, only for Keiichi to get murdered in broad daylight some time later.

There's also no real reason for Rika to even attack Takano.
She spent most of her time inside the Irie Clinic, did research, spent time with Tomitake and that's it. Plus, knowing she was going to die, Rika likely never did anything to change anything about Takano.
