Subway throws out tons of bread made fresh everyday in the dumpster in the alley behind the store. Maybe something like that exists in your area. Beware of mold, though, especially with soft fruits, as the mycelium speads a lot more with the least resistance and most moisture. So bread and cheese you should be able to just slice off the gooey part, but with tomatos or other fruits, it's a goner once you see visible mold on the surface.

It depends on the temperature as well, how quickly food will spoil. Also how dirty the employee's hands are when they touched the food, wind carrying spores, ect. Moist foods are 24 hours tops at 18'C, but dry foods will last a bit longer, of course. Not trying to be a smart ass, just trying to help even though this is probably a troll.
