It's asinine that the new group who took it over actively removed all english options from it, including the ability to even switch languages, and then removed all the actual english from the files, while leaving a bunch of empty quotation marks in their place rather than take the time to actually clean the code.

It was only a bilingual program under the original developer, whose been gone for a year. Furthermore the newer forks are identical to the japanese versions of the same time period, and actually have more features. Only the original fork was behind, because it was based on a year old version before the japanese version was discovered

I find that the point of it is you simultaneously are horrified by the sickening psychological abuse you're seeing done, but then when you remember these are just those fucking Yukkuri you realize it's totally okay and get into it.

That's the theme of quite a few of the comics, too.

They're pretty good horror stories in that respect in that they set up expectations (you should feel disturbed), and yet they subvert your expectations in that the rule of the creatures is they don't really give a fuck and they'd be doing just as bad shit to each other on their own.
