Don't be so worried about it. Unless they've been stored in really hot conditions, the figure should be fine. It's pretty rare for a figure to get sticky. Even if it does get sticky, that link tells you how you can wash it off.

Summer is almost here. If you see your figure is getting a melty looking solution on the eyes, or if the plastic feels like its becoming soft from being in a hot setting for too long, stick your figure in the fridge.
