Hello ^^ I have been trying to find information about seals and warding type things, although I have come up pretty much empty handed. I'm basically looking for stuff that is supposed to keep out "bad" things, protect you, etc. Any information about this stuff is appreciated.

You'd probably find more help on /tg/.

Or /x/ if you're serious about warding away youkai.

I'd be interested in this as well. If anybody's knowledgable about this sort of thing, could they explain a little instead of just redirecting this guy?

I doubt that any of us are Shinto clerics or scholars.

Although maybe someone fluent in moonrunes could find something on Japanese google or whatever.

It seems like just the sort of thing someone here would find interesting enough to research.

Actually, I have an acquaintance who's in training as a priestess. I wonder how much she would know about the subject.

Is she a real Japanese person studying to become a Miko or is she some Wiccan hippie or something?

Shinto, like most aboriginal religions, is an ethnic religion, it's not really something people can convert to. You're either born into the group or not.
