I don't think I've ever seen her cook anything that wasn't in a crock pot and wasn't from a can. You know, those recipes like 'put frozen chicken breast in pot, cover with barbecue sauce, let simmer for 4-8 hours', or, 'mix generic food product with generic food product 2, heat throroughly'. Those horrible, disgusting "recipes" that leave you with something you can barely call food. She's always cooked "meals" like this. Thankfully she didn't cook often. I think that kind of "food" is actually very similar to the "food" people from /fit/ love to "cook", or at least that's what the Glorious Vertical Recipes for Handicap Home Cooks website lends me to believe. Thinking about people like that literally make me feel angry. To think there are kids growing up today who won't know how actual home cooked meals are supposed to taste is a depressing thought.
