The very moment we program them to.

When they
1. can actually do useful things
2. stop being so fucking creepy
3. stop being so fucking creepy

>>When will the androids start to have feelings about misuse and fight for the rights of human?
probably about a month after sentient smart toasters get the right to vote.

But the question is why would you design a toaster, coffee machine, or maid-bot to have feelings or sentience in the first place?

well, for example, you can cheaply produce 10 million sentient devices that are each sentient enough to have a vote, and they just happen to share your political views down to the very last detail. it's the new lobbying.

I doubt we'll see it soon, but we'll probably see it in our lifetime, at least for mass consumption in Japan, considering their demographic problems.

>When will the androids start to have feelings about misuse and fight for the rights of human?
The code for feelings about misuse has to be written first, and I have no idea why would anyone bother doing this, let alone pay for this to be done.
Then somebody will have to hack android's firmware and/or OS and port over said code to android's CPU architecture, which is yet another as much complex as it's senseless thing to do.

A healthy amount of uncanny valley would give an exotic style to them.
Excessively focusing on trying to make androids into verbatim recreations of 3dpd will lead to disappointment.

But that would reduce the list of things they can get mad about, which is not in the interest of feminists... it would reduce their ability to gain political strength.

They don't want solutions, they just want unsolvable problems so they can get endless concessions from the government.
