This is what I used to say. I was a NEET for 3 years after I dropped out of HS. Became completely depressed, had to take drugs, etc. I finished HS in an adult education system at home and then entered to college. The first semester was great, I was one of the top grades in my classes. Then I began to feel lazy again, homework and study took all the time for my hobbies. I finally dropped out again. Only thing I can say is, I love being a NEET after all.

Since becoming NEET my japanese and VN-reading has been off the charts.

Truly, taking it easy gives you a most wondrous feeling.

Those early days of hikki-ism are also dream-like. I'm in the sweet spot. I understand it can only go downhill from here, but I will enjoy this moment to it's fullest.

To the reduce the physical pain of being NEET I alternate between browsing the Internet and laying down on my bed to watch anime.

I think it's all because of my posture when I use my computer. My chair isn't the greatest either. Before I would browse 4chan for hours at a time, but then the pain would start. So now I take 30 minute breaks every once in awhile.

Where do you feel pain? I get it in my neck and shoulders.

Oh, that's not what I have. Mine is Irritable Bowel Syndrome and Chronic Pelvic Pain Syndrome, so mid-lower abdominal mainly. So many things make it worse, including sitting down for long periods so I have to lie on a heating pad in bed for relief sometimes if nothing else works.

you're fucking huge dude, i'm 190cm and 100 kg and i'm pretty fat. even if you're going to be a NEET and sit around the house all day, you should be able to lose several pounds a month just from eating less.

There have always been two types of NEET. One seems genuinely happy and content living a life with a dim future and minimal social interactions.

The other is pretty much the opposite in that they long first and foremost for social interaction. Most everything in their life is governed by their desire for interaction. Following that they would like a promising future, which usually means worrying about entering schooling or training of some sort eventually in the future. Finally, they're discontent with the labels society has put on them and would like to change their lives for the "better".

Disgusting people, that second group. They really are the lowest of the low. Especially all the people here wanting to get a job, longing for friends outside and being depressed about their NEET lifestyle. Just die already if you are so sad about your NEET life.

Cool, NEET thread. Today my parents left for vacation but it's no different from normal at all except I don't have to hear their noises. They're gone until Thursday and took me to the store on Monday so I could buy food for myself. I got lots of sweets and food and I'm really excited to eat it all!
