When do I know I won't embarrass myself during netplay? If it is anything like other fighters that I have tried the com is poor preparation for online.

Who the hell even cares, I got my ass kicked constantly too when I first started playing.
Just play a couple games you you'll get the hang of it.
One thing is for sure though, you won't get any better if you won't play at all.

I'm assuming you're talking about blockstrings? You block it or BE out of it, bomb or hangeki out if you're scrubby enough to use those cards. Most people are too retarded to keep a decent blockstring going, so you can usually just dash out and punish them for doing stupid shit if their strings suck that badly.

Likewise, people usually don't respect your blockstrings, so you can punish them for thinking they can go ape mash during your offense.

I have been playing about a week and I am surprised how fun it actually is. Creating combos, checking what spells work together, fucking around etc. I like using every character because they all have fun playing styles.

It's lagging pretty badly for me ,at random intervals it just drops down to a few frames.
