You're probably at the part where you have to activate something in the server room. It's frustrating if you're trying to kill every enemie. The best thing is probably just to rush and make it to the next door.
Farming for HP wasn't that hard, but it's not very usefull since most stuff instant kills you in this area. I also noticed that this poison-stuff is just a pixel-sized enemie you can kill.

Japanese wiki for items. at least when using google translate, you somewhat read it and use as reference. other recommendations is you use a katakana chart to read the name of the items.

also fuck that vending machine in dungeon B...it sells a stupid equip item with DEFENSE-5 effect.....troll indeed.

I made progress! I activated a switch in another server room and made i back alive, now another mission was added to 「THE_MIGRATION」.

yo OP, if you just go further the 2nd door in the 1st dungeon, you can find these robots and a boss stage. I didn't fight the boss since my items aren't enough, so i don't know what the boss's gameplay is.

I remember entering a giant room with some land mines and a health bar at the side. It feeled lategame-ish because i was getting spammed with bullets which caused 9999 damage - i didn't even saw the boss.

If you take the first door after entering the dungeon and then use the door in the middle of the floor you'll enter a room with a black pit and a saw and this will lead you to a big room with 4 doors at each direction, one of them is the server room which activates the network in the 2nd floor.

I just noticed a shortcut to the dungeon will appear in the stairway after activating the second server room, this makes everything less annoying.
And i don't know why, but jumping into a spider net like this teleports you back to your base - more shortcuts!

Hey OP, what's your progress on the game?

I'm currently in the 3rd dungeon, doing the 3rd mission. I've been on the 3rd server room, but for now I haven't found a way to return back to base during the mission, which is kind of bugging me since I'll need to replay the whole mission+dungeon again and again.

I've come to a place where I got back my sniper/Dragunov, and the mission needs the ability of silent sniping. too bad i was found out and didnt have the time to take screencaps.

This is the place you will find the 2nd jump ability. It is a suit/equipment type item. The name of the item is "P UNIT" with UNIT written in katakana.

DEATH BUNNIES: Beware of being stepped on by them - instant death awaits.

Oh yeah, as usual, the 3rd server room should activate the 3rd floor/level security room which i guess would be another shortcut, but for now haven't found it yet.

you should get the P UNIT equip in >>11519002. It speeds up going from the 2nd floor to the 2nd dungeon and into the 3rd dungeon.

Yeah, already got it - it was between tons of standard clothings. I also checked my chest for clothings and found some other interesting clothings. And damn, according to http://wikiwiki.jp/hack9/?GHost93%2F%A5%A2%A5%A4%A5%C6%A5%E0%B8%FA%B2%CC some of the clothings are extremely overpowered. I'll have to pay more attention looking for them.

I also just found out that the rocket launcher (RPG-7) can destroy iron doors. So much new placed i have to loot now.

Activating the 3'rd server room was pretty easy if you just use a flash granade to deactivate all cameras in room >>11519543 and then jump into the teleporting spiderweb.
But the shortcut seems like a trap because there's one of these yellow instant-death poison cans right in front of you, or is there an item that might help me?

Yeah I just noticed that today too haha. But you must be careful since grenades can also explode lootable items. I accidentally exploded an HPノモト (HPnomoto) and it was burnt black lol, fortunately i did saved so i just reset and all was well.

Thanks for the info on RPG-7 ability to destroy iron doors. I noticed that you can also destroy iron bars with it.

There's a prison where the yellow poison cans are very near with a glowing yellow item, I'm afraid bombing would destroy the item too so i left it for later. I think there will be a HAZMAT suit, able to withstand the yellow poison, equippable later in the game, since the level 4 dungeons have many mobs wearing a yellowish suit like hazmat suits.

If you have unlocked the 3rd network room, go to the dungeon where it appears like a hangar with many green and white robots. Then go downstairs and find an empty room. That room will now have a portal that would take you to a massive hall with an event to be activated. Before activating the event make sure you have P UNIT/ Pユニット/ DoubleJump and KASOKUSOUCHI/ カソクソウチ available. After you activated this event, you must run as fast as you could back to the portal door.

You will fight 3 more bosses after that.

The first boss is in the large hall connected to the shortcut in the 3rd floor. There's 2 of them - one boss is visible, the other is using an optic-camo suit. I wished the 'invisible' boss would drop her camo suit, but all i get is a 5yen lol. You can try to find out if the boss would drop that suit. I overwrote my save data so yeah...T_T

I don't think it's a trap, because i came from that hole to the room with the tripwire. There's a moving platform you can probably activate with a flash grenade, but since down there is a giant room the platform takes about a minute to move from A to B.
I hope i get that anti-poison suit soon! But i don't have much time to play recently.

New stuff. Found the whereabouts of the 4th boss. From 2nd floor -> 2nd dungeon ->3rd dungeon -> 1st portal -> garden (where instead of 2 silver mechs, it's a boss fight!) she's a ninja/kunoichi who throws kunais as weapon, also an expert in hiding.

too tired right now, gonna capture a vid later. i did beat her once so it's probably not that hard.

also i'm wearing a new clothing/suit: Accelerator suit (effect: changes appearance. negate poisoned status but still takes damage from poison cans in vicinity) I got it from the 4th dungeon.

...I'm guessing this mission is about beating 13 people/bosses....

1 thing about HP item and MP item which increases your max HP/MP. They increase your max HP/MP but within 1~4 for HP/1~8 for MP.

If you don't want to waste these items by only adding smaller point to your max HP/MP, you should try to get the highest possible points whenever possible:

1. Don't use HP/MP item when you're not in base. This is because the free refill is nearby and you can easily check whether a usage of HP/MP items yields the best result.

2. If you've just loaded your game, best to have 1 HP item and 2 MP items in check. Use 1 MP item first. You'll +5 points to your MP. Use another MP item to get additional 8points(max). THEN use the HP item to get 4points (max) addition to your max HP. Get it? MP, MP, HP. You can try different orders but this is the best I can come up with for now.

3. If you've just gone back to base from exploring dungeon, save, but don't exit your game yet. Refill your HP and MP. Don't save/exit. Use your HP item. Then refill HP to check. You'll get a high probability of getting 3 to 4 points increase to your max HP. Now save! *Don't use more than 1 HP item, the 2nd one will get you only +1 point which is a waste.

New progress for today. I've found the 4th server room. By activating the event in the 4th server, you'll get to fight the boss wearing a gas mask; shown in the C84 games promo video.

1 thing to do is make sure you brought something to break the doors - there's an item called "Hensougi" [ヘンソウギ] in 1 of the rooms in the 4th server room. What does it do? Apart from a different costume, it doesn't really do anything. If you activated the server before you get this costume item, you won't get it anymore - my first attempt failed because I didn't bring any door breaking weapons (RPGs, Boomerang Cutter). Fortunately I did a save data backup, and now I have an alternate maid costume! The save data is the GAME_DATA.DAT file in the same directory as your ghost93.exe.

There are also new items to loot, and new mission is given. I'll post a video later to show the location of the 4th server room, it's kinda tricky to get there.

It's not as good as Cave Story because the frustration level is maximized in BlackBastard's games like the GHost9 series. I guess that circle name is very accurate! But apart from the frustration these games are very impressive and make fun. I would like to see these game getting a bit more attention and a translation patch because they surely deserve it.
