The staff at the fan panel said they were deliberately giving out tickets to quiet and calm people, so no screaming sperglords in dress up got any.


They still have a few more for tomorrow, I think they are handing them out at the "Sayonara AWA" event. Get in line early and near the front and keep an eye on staff members idling around the line. You also need to raise your hand when they start distributing them.

Zun's panels went well, the trivia went very well, the fan panel went well, and even the gaming with Zun went well even though only one guy played and died several times though with the scroll it made it better. Even the tournament the next day went well. Yet at the very end of the last touhou panel the guy who helped run the panel (next to the guy dressed as Toyosatomimi no Miko) couldn't simply thank Zun and ask for approval. For some reason he had to spill his spaghetti and grovel at Zun for his "blessings". Other than that it went very well. I have some pictures of some "good" touhou cosplayers, but I don't know if it would be appropriate to post them here.

Despite that, DDC still feels much more difficult than TD when you're going for an NB run. Lack of extends and bombs doesn't matter much when the patterns and stages are pitifully easy.

Playing normally, they're both pretty easy. You get enough lives and bombs to plow your way through everything in DDC. Trance would have been decent if ZUN had taken away the invincibility, and allowed the player to use it at any level of trance.

He did say that he approved of the English patches though. But his twitter posts and panel responses make it seem like he would like to finally officially translate the games.

The fact that there is some mediocre art in there literally does not matter one bit. Nobody is expecting ZUN to display this on his wall or something. The whole point of the thing was to present him with a huge token of appreciation made from the efforts of tons of fans he didn't realize existed. The Hen Da Ne booth was selling the official material at the convention. It was largely overpriced, but it was also the only way to get it at the convention to be signed.

The Windows games cost $35 overall, with Shoot the Bullet and Double Spoiler at $30, $50 for Ten Desires, and $65 for Double Dealing Character. I didn't check the fighters or the print works.
