Just finished my first playthrough of AT1, final battle with Mir was kinda disappointing since I beat her after one try in like 3 minutes.

Ar Tonelico 1 is generally very easy, especially at the end of the game, when your vanguards are already so powerful that you often don't have time to build up song magic, because things will be dead rather fast.

AT2 "fixed" this by making your vanguards into wimps that couldn't hurt a fly if they tried. Well, and that insane blocking that will kill your fingers.
