In the Marvel vs Capcom fighting game community, black people used to say that people who were losing and upset were "salty" about their loss, and would shout and whoop like apes. It eventually mutated into a catch-all term, and people would just babble "HE SO SALTY" at each other; the most notable person to propagate this behaviour was Yipes (a large overweight black man who used to play MvC but now just commentates).

People thought it would be a good idea to make a website that shows MUGEN matches of AI vs AI, and the viewers can bet money on who is going to win.
