any alcohol otaku here?

what are you drinking the emptiness away with tonight, /jp/?

I (read: my mother) picked this vodka up on offer and it's damn good stuff. Was supposed to be £26 a bottle, but I (read: my mother) got it for £14.

>> No.11387768

I really only like red wine anymore. All I have is two beers in the fridge, stout, they're not that good.

I don't really even like alcohol. To be honest I've had this urge for the first time in years to try cannabis again and it won't go away.

You know it looks better if you just try to start a thread without trying to force "any x otaku here" on every thread.

I've gone off red wine a bit, it makes me feel shit the next day and I find the taste really hit and miss. Dark ales are my favourite thing to drink, but they're too expensive.

Ah, I used to get that really badly.

For me it wasn't drinking specifically, but my bad diet in general combined with drinking. I still still drink regularly, but I eat a lot more healthily now and I never get acid reflux anymore.

Suppose this is going off topic a bit, but I was one of those people who hated vegetables and refused to eat them. I started putting on a lot of weight once I got into my mid-teens though, so I thankfully had the sense to decide there and then that there had to be a change before things got worse, and I began forcing myself to eat healthier things. It was a bit unpleasant for somewhere between a week and a month, don't quite remember exactly since it was a few years ago now, but eventually I just got used to it and started to tolerate them (and even came to like some of them). But yeah, just give it a try, eat some healthier things and your body should start to change for the better. Swap chips for baked potatoes, drink more water (same as with vegetables, you just get used to it and it becomes normal after a while, for variety you can turn to tea or coffee), and just avoid fast food in favour of other things as much as possible.

After changing what I ate, I lost about 3-4 stone (although I did do a little light exercise a few times a week which contributed to that), and a lot of health problems I'd been having like acid reflux just up and vanished. I'd say the discomfort of changing your eating habits is well worth the rewards.

Alcohol a shit. It's only effective if you get drunk, and to get drunk you have to literally drink so much that it costs way more money than a NEET would ever be able to afford. And it just keeps getting more and more expensive due to tolerance building up constantly.

"Necessary" is not "sufficient".

Yes, if you want to discuss anime and manga with three other people and don't mind waiting three days for a reply, they're fine.

you're thinking of /ota/

If you're new to /jp/ or are just a tohofag, hey that's great. I'm glad you're enjoying the board. It's objectively awful though, and the solution is to migrate.

/b/ is actually one of the most heavily moderated boards.

/bun/ and /ota/ are also objectively awful. The solution is to pick the board you think is least shitty and put up with it.

The only judgement you've passed on them is they they don't have "sufficient" posters. Here's a clue: that's subjective and can be changed by people choosing to stop posting on /jp/ and start posting on better boards.

>> No.11388080,46 [INTERNAL]

But seriously, if you're just into Touhou keep that shit on 4chan. Thanks.

Everything is subjective. Despite what we've been throwing around, "awful" is also subjective.

>by people choosing to stop posting on /jp/ and start posting on better boards.
2D/Random and /photos/ are both basically /b/. /generals/ and /om/ are, well, just full of generals, none of which I particularly feel like participating in. They also have no users.

Thanks Sherlock.

The harsh truth is that nothing good can come out of something horrible. So if /jp/ is as bad as you say, their spin-offs will be just as bad, or maybe even worse.

/jp/ isn't bad because of the posters Watson, it's because of the staff. If you pick the posters up and place them on a board that isn't run by retards the result would be a board that isn't soul draining.
