When was she ever the worst stage six? She trumps Kaguya and is even with Byakuren at the very least. And she's leagues ahead of Remilia, but that's just me.

I also believe that's ZUN's character design in general has gotten better over time.

not sure what is this about, but miko is a shit boss but a great character, she's my fifth favourite 2hu but her stage,danmaku and theme are kind of underwhelming.

bowloli has a terrible character design and her spell cards have no creativity at all but her theme is outstanding.
having a toy hammer as her weapon and being smaller than a fumo doesn't help

I find it to be wonderfully dynamic, and the closest ZUN has got to a complete symphonic piece.

The composition is fine, but I think that all the instruments sound a little too loud and chaotic. Like he composed the theme and then decided to make it "Touhou stage 6 boss" material by making it deliberately over the top.

History of the Moon is fantastic. Although maybe that's just because I'm a huge sucker for the main refrain without regard for composition.

Miko as a character has grown on me a lot, especially with HM and SoPM (or, to be specific Miko's character in HM compared to SoPM). I never really disliked her though, just thought that it was a little hard to really grasp her character and her personality.

Now that I can though, I think she's very interesting. Probably one of the more unique last bosses. Her self-absorbedness is the real deal, but she always knows how to act to make people like her regardless. Her traditional views also feel like they add up in an interesting way with the more modern Gensokyo.

I have to say though, character and backstory-wise, TD is pretty much the best game in my opinion. Still not sure if it's my favorite in that aspect because there are so many characters and stories I love, it feels unfair to pick a favorite.

I kinda agree with those who say her Danmaku is underwhelming, but I have no problems with her theme. Not a personal favorite but I definitely enjoy it.

Sukuna's theme is incredible for me and her danmaku really did it for me too but as of now I feel like she lacks that sense of awe that the best stage 6 bosses inspire like Remilia and Yuyuko

I liked Miko from the very beginning. I even made a post in the very first TD thread about how the final boss looks great and the extra stage boss looks ugly.

Yeah, that's pretty much exactly how I see her. She just wouldn't be capable. She'd never be able put anyone before herself. And at the same time I wouldn't put her above enjoying the simple pleasures of life like you say.

If she ever entered some kind of relationship, it'd be for political reasons, just like how she practices religion. But even that would be pretty meaningless now that's she's immortal and in Gensokyo and all.
