Any Japanese weapon otaku here? What's your favorite Japanese weapon?

My favorite is the Type 99 Arisaka bolt-action rifle.

What about modern Japanese firearms? The only one I know anything about is the Howa Type 89. It seems okay, but not good enough to justify the 3,500 USD price tag per unit. I do like the idea of an integrated bipod though.

Rural places are the free areas of America. Out here nobody cares about things like licenses, building permits, etc. You just make what you want and shoot what you want.

>revolutionary communists

Violent revolution is only how communism works in small third world countries where a bunch of guerrillas with soviet weapons can overthrow the government. It's different when targeting first world countries though.

Rather than a military uprising or invasion, the focus is based on cultural destruction. Marxism invades the non-communist nation, decimates the nation's culture through various counter-culture groups, and then after a few decades it will have gained enough mainstream power that it occupies many positions of power in the country.

This is what happened after the 1960s when the old left collapsed and the hippies, feminists, and other types of communist scum grew up and took over and formed the new left.

The modern day American Democratic party has the end goal of eventually turning the U.S into a communist nation. It's been thoroughly infiltrated and corrupted by communists for decades now.

Right, I agree. I think I could apply for a research grant. There isn't a whole lot for a good solid body of work on the Ainu, so I think both the Japanese government and American government would give me one. I think the chances for receiving one is high due to little material. I'm learning Japanese, so a trip to Japan is going to happen more than once. I go next summer as well. The grant idea is great. Even if you're headed to Tokyo and can't find many pure Ainu, it still can be done if you can find people with family connections to the Ainu that can hook you up... I do like the Arisaka, wakizashi, and bo staff.
I own the rifle and staff, and hopefully the sword soon.
The good ones are just so expensive.

Modern Japanese-designed tanks. South Korea's and China's are better.

Are there any cheap but sturdy and reliable bolt action rifle that I could buy for less than 500 dollars?

I want to buy my first gun, but I don't like how those new rifles look. I want to stick with the basics and go with a bolt action.

M9130 Mosin Nagant, of course. I believe /k/ has a buyer's guide for it so check that first.

But yeah, $150, fun, reliable, and it comes with a bayonet.

Yeah, if you've never fired a half-decent firearm in your life. I could never get over how difficult and jerky the action was, and how disgusting the ammunition was. I guess it was a good weapon in 1896, but I could spend 150 dollars on cosplay or something way more useful.

I speak as someone who owns and has shot many guns in my time. Many of those firearms were of very high quality.

I own a few bolt actions of good quality, much smoother and objectively nicer to shoot compared to the 91/30 and variants.

The hard bolt throw can be worked on by TLC and some polishing, but it's also a bit of the charm of that rifle. It's fun to slap that bolt open when firing cheap as dirt ammo as fast as you can load stripper clips into the mag. It's fun to smell the acrid, 60 year old corrosive surplus smoke as you send big old thirty caliber bullets down range.

It's fun to shoot it because it's a cheap, rough, and tough. It's like how in some cases, you don't want to have a slow, sensual fap. Sometimes, you just want to skip any lube you might normally use and beat your dick raw.

I am also uncut and not a jew, but I was trying to make a metaphor. Perhaps I should have included a reference to an onahole or another sex toy that usually requires a bit of lube.

I'm sad to admit that I have no firearms manufactured in Japan. I've shot a few rifles made in Japan, and I own a scope made in Japan.

I'm trying to find a picture of my friend's Howa rifle. In the meantime, here's my rifle, built on a Savage action, with the Sightron SIII 8-32x56 LRMOA. It's a very good scope for longer distance shooting.

Here we are. Howa in .308 Winchester with a laminate stock. At the time, it had a Falcon 4-14FFP, that was decent for the money.

Here's another picture of the Howa, notice the thumbhole stock. The Falcon was changed for a Bushnell, I'm not sure what kind of optic it has on it now. Knowing the owner, probably a half decent Vortex.

Bolt action is pointless for anything beside range shooting.
Are you really ever going to encounter a situation where a slow firing long range accurate rifle is more effective against the niggs than a semi auto rifle? The niggs arent going to build trenches in front of your house and wait for you to pop out.

I never really got the gun laws.

The way I see it. If we successfully get guns taken away and have effectively rid ourselves of civilians owning guns it would literally do shit all.

One way or another people will find out guns arent the only things that can kill people.

If guns get taken away it will just be replaces with swords and knives again and what then? Have knives and swords be outlawed?

Then people will just used bludgeons or fucking rocks. There is literally endless possibilities that one could use to kill someone with.

Taking away guns wont do shit if there are still people in the world still willing (and able) to kill other people.

It is the inherent evil in man's heart that needs to be taken away

Are WW2 era German rifles as easy to get as the Russian rifles?
