As a Japanese-American, I was really happy when American started getting into Japanese culture. It was really cool to see the interest. But after awhile I realize what a big....no....HUGE mistake it was. I cringe every time I see white people acting "japanese". It just too much.

There was always interest that the States had with Japan from each decade (especially the 80's).

After the bubble burst there wasn't much going on, but now what else can you expect when not only one faction of culture is ex/imported but also the "habits" of the people that indulge themselves in it (ie otaku)?
