Marisa stole the precious thing by IOSYS

Suwa Foughten Field is easily ZUN's best. Its organization is quite good, and he gets rid of some bad habits which can be found in his earlier music. Then again, this is why MoF is the best Touhou soundtrack as a whole.

Necrofantasia is decent, but it still feels very amateurish.

PCB has the best game soundtrack in terms of atmosphere and progression, and "feel" while playing it.

MoF has one of the most consistently good soundtracks, along with some very good boss themes. Imperishable Night is rather good too.

EoSD is the ugly duckling.

I have trouble deciding my favourite overall game in terms of music. Imperishable Night and Perfect Cherry Blossom both have awesome themes that fit each of the boss fights perfectly in terms of timing and personality. Love it every time I get to Marisa in IN, Love-coloured Master Spark fits just right, or in PCB when I get to Yuyuko and the music starts kicking in when she starts to mean business.

At first I wasn't sure about Mountain of Faith, music was good but it felt like a step back in terms of game play, now I love it, though oddly Candid Friend is still my favourite from that game.

Technically speaking, yes you are absolutely right. Suwa Foughten Field is well made, and it's a huge step above the other songs in that regard. However the music itself still pales (just slightly) in comparison with a select few of Zun's other compositions

It's like a well directed movie with great acting, but all the actors are all absolutely hideous and each has a long spikey black dildo sticking out of their ass.
