I personally think it looks like ZUN's art made an improvement, at least compared to the TD and UFO promotional art.

Reimu kinda looks like she was drawn by KamS though, which feels a little strange, even if I also think she looks really cute.

I think it's mostly the hair that reminds me of KamS. Marisa is the same in that aspect. KamS started out mimicking ZUN's style, but he got a lot better than him quickly and developed more detailed shading etc, so now ZUN has caught up?

I thought the mirror theory was interesting. The game could have a doubles theme. (obviously it will, hence the title) Please let there be a mimic character.

That would be cool. Other than that I think it's a little hard to make any real speculations to what the title could refer too. Like, gameplay-wise obviously we could try to make some connections, but I wonder what the plot will be like.

Touhou already has a lot of "double faced" characters, and a lot of reality/illusion themes, as well as Gensoukyou itself being a place full of uncertainties when it comes to information/definition.

I think the games strike a good balance with this. It's not going to give you trophies or bonus content, but ZUN knows people will complete the games in certain ways, but he also knows that people will do challenges outside of the game itself.

Things like music descriptions, endings, and an extra stage are enough for ordinary play. Unlocking spell cards is something to do if you're good at the game. After that, enter a competition or something.
