I always like those maps that place locations that were stages in the games really far away from each other. One moment you fight Komachi at the river and the next moment you are all the way on the other side of the map to fight Eiki

I still have my folder with most the canon descriptions and images of Gensokyo locations, but I got bored before I finished and compiled it into a map.

Too many maps with the Hakurei Shrine close to the Human Village when it the official works it is explicitly said that the villagers think it's too hard to get to it. Also, Reimu crossed the misty lake before reaching SDM.

What's worse are the maps that don't have youkai mountain near the hakurei shrine, considering it is explicitly said to be located there.

The Youkai mountain has a sea of trees at its base. The Hakurei Shrine is just near the border.
If you were reading the touhouwiki, it's talking about the OTHER shrine, Moriya.

So you're saying, that when Reimu gets a Cease & Desist from Sanae, it takes her 6 stages to walk behind her own Shrine, that somehow includes a river and a waterfall, and a lake, to beat up the newcomers?

Just because a mountain happens to be in your backyard doesn't mean you can climb it quickly.

But really, the fact that it takes two stages just to even reach the base of the mountain already makes it astoundingly unlikely.
