I like to think of what all the 2hus do in their free time. What kind of casual clothes they wear outside their "uniforms" if might call them so.

Hey OC Thread.
I'm going to be writing a game for a school project. inb4pleaseevacuatethepremises

My general idea is that it will be a danmaku game that features a crafting system with randomized drops from bosses requiring the player to kill one boss several times to get components which can then be used to create a new shot type which is stronger than the previous one. I'll attempt to compose the music myself and I will probably rip sprites from other games.

the main problem is that i always come across severe inconsistencies after a day of work. the likes of

i have the hunch that i am trying to force random stories into certain settings. it's just not natural and after a while it always turns out like this.

Take a look at Hotel. It did use quite a bit of text but it had a pretty simple story and you could probably get by with some striking visuals.

no dialogue, monologue and not even expositional narration. the point is it should work with images alone, that's the rule. it would be a lot easier with narration like in hotel.
with this, it's hard to make the story good without being able to "say" anything.
also, i have a theme to follow: "love letter"

and that short story in the link is too long. a manga short story is at best one to two pages long. there isn't enough place for that much development.
