IIRC, the very first Touhou thread I had ever come across during my first trips to /a/ was a Meiling thread. From then on I wondered what Touhou was, eventually looked it up on Youtube, then proceeded to play the games, collecting pictures, and readan/fappan to doujins.

I love Touhou.

Interestingly enough none. I came across Touhou from /a/ and got EoSD and PoFV back around Thanksgiving last year, played them for awhile and quit, I'm no good at top down shooters. I tried reading Silent Sinner in Blue but it was boring, I read a couple doujins but I never got into them.

Still, I've been on /jp/ from the beginning and I still love reading about touhou here. Sometimes (like now) even contributing to a touhou thread. I save pictures of the girls but don't have a favorite and I browse nico video to listen to the music videos or watch Reimu caramelldansen.

I'm a very odd touhou fan, if you consider me a fan at all.

2007-06-07, I found pictures like this on a site called meidokon. I really got the wrong impression of these two.
I looked in ANN (like any touhou newfag, what anime/mange is this): nothing.

One remix led to another, and another, and I started wondering just who the heck this little crazy girl was in all the art. I gleaned a noun- "Touhou".

my first hit was an iosys flash featuring resin. Then I found a china wallpaper I didn't know who is was but I found her hot, and then I found remiu and I couldn't stop. After I found her I had to know what she was from so I asked around /tg/ and when I finally knew what she was from i conudn't stop my self I deleted my /b/ folder so I could make room for the games I backed up and deleted most of my animies to make room for dojins and now my hard drive is almost full of Tohou girls and i don't care who knows it.

I love every one of them, I can't just choose one. However it was Flandre that captured my heart the first time. I never had much interest in lolis until I discovered her. She opened a new "gateway" in me if you know what I mean dohoho. A couple others I absolutely adore are Mokou, Kaguya and Wriggle. I think the ronery ones gets me the most.

I actually got into it from hearing about the gameplay, downloaded EoSD and IN and found them to be pretty fun. Eventually I started to look up music remixes, then doujins and such.

As far as the whole character thing goes, I'm one of those strange people who likes Rumia. What little stuff that exists of her made the series somewhat more appealing to me.

I got started from playing PCB, while Remilia and EoSD pretty much sealed my fate.

I had tried a couple of danmaku games but I didn't care much for them. I liked SWR though and that's the game that made me a touhou fan.

For some reason the only touhou that I find hot is Tenshi.
