Do you know how to write the names of your favourite touhous in japanese? What about full names?

Subhuman kana-only touhous don't count (pic related).

Reisen Udongein Inaba

All of it except Inaba is in kanji, Inaba is written in katakana. The dots between the names are used for names that don't follow family name - given name order... I think.

So for Reisen's sake, it would be her pet names, as she doesn't have any family names.

Is Kanji and Katakana in the same realm? I know that Hiragana is sort of closer to this alphabet (What with sounds and such), isn't one of them used for foreign objects, whilst the other is used much in the same way as Chinese?

>> No.10543808

>>10543793
漢字 - kanji, Chinese characters. Used for names, nouns, verbs etc.
ひらがな - hiragana, phonetic script derived from Chinese characters. Used for the same thing as kanji plus grammar particles.
カタカナ - katakana, phonetic script derived from Chinese characters, normally used for loanwords and onomatopaea in modern Japanese.

>> No.10543823

>>10543815
Telling them apart isn't very hard by the way. Kanji are complex and generally not very 'rounded'. Hiragana are simpler, and squiggly. Katakana look like hiragana but they are more blocky.

No, katakana and hiragana are both syllaberies (like alphabets, to make it easier to understand, but based on syllables instead). Katakana is usually used for foreign words, yes.
