Funny you guys mention Chen. I used that BGM changer deal, and I don't remember why, but replaced Chen's theme with Cha-La-head-Cha-La, and now I can't not hear it when I see her.

Right now, I'm addicted to MoF's Stage 5 theme. The game has an odd peculiarity of stages having better music than the boss fights themselves.

Stage 4 is awesome too, but I've already listened to it too many times. Plus Stage 5 has trumpets. Every good ZUN song has synth trumpets.

I still think Kanako has the best final boss theme in the series.

The music in MoF has a lot more organization and structure to it. Also, there are a lot less filler tracks than the usual Touhou soundtrack. It's definitely the best overall OST in the series so far.

I look foward to hearing the SA soundtrack. I wonder if ZUN can top MoF.

Suwa Foughten Field is INCREDIBLE, and if we judge final bosses only...then I might have to agree with you that it is the best..but only when limited to final bosses

I used to think MoF has the best overall music as well. But EoSD has retaken that spot for me after I recently realized how good Shanghai Tea and Beloved Tomboy Girl are, in addition to the SakuRemiFlan themes

Personally for music, I'd go EoSD > MoF > IN > PCB

Suwa Foughten Field is amazing, but I can't say it's my favorite. Still attached to Remilia and Sikieiki as far as final boss themes go, but Kanako isn't far behind.
