You mean PD? Yeah, you won't get anything out of that until you have Unity Cache that's at least 40GB+ and you'll have to remember the update the nodes every so often. I think Share is a little less maintenance, but I've never spent a great length of time using it.

Magico Catastrofe is an overrated and really underwhelming album. No doubt, people still wet themselves just because it's Shibayan. I have a good feeling that 魔王様 will upload Halozy, Aftergrow and こなぐすり soon... I hope.

Quite a few Maurits 禅 Cornelis arrangements on the new FELT release. One of my favorite doujin arrangers by far, I just wish he would do more instrumental or less-vocal tunes. Liminality (track 3) has an incredible jazz/fusion thing going but I'm not a huge fan of vocals in most types of music. Anyone know what other circles MZC works with? I've seen the name on a few different releases.

Possibly. I don't make music, so I'm no expert when it comes to an objective analysis, but the album did not appeal to me whatsoever, and I'm open to all genres. I was expecting a lot after reading all the praise here and since I didn't bother listening to the crossfade, overall I was expecting much more. And he also had to use generic and overused vocalists like ランコ and 3L, though hearing ランコ on this kind of genre was actually surprising. I'll agree that 雨はりらりら was the most entertaining track on the album, but that's not saying much.

I've found Tutti sound's to be a pretty damn solid album, while TEB wasn't that amazing in my opinion. They need to bring back Shihori, Axel K. and 3L back into this. Also what is Sugano doing at the moment? He hasn't featured in TEB since Vol. 4.

I'm not too sure what Sugano's up to, other than that he released an album at Comiket this year, and has tweeted in support of TEB7. Other than that... I haven't kept the best of contact with him so I don't really know.

Dear music uploaders, please please stop using solid 7z archives (or any solid archives, for that matter). It's the most retarded thing ever. So is using the maximum compression setting on files that already ARE compressed (hint hint, mp3).

You gain literally nothing with these settings, but it's a pain in the ass to work with these archives afterwards, because you cannot extract single files in solid archives without temporarily extracting all other files as well. Fucking fuck solid archives.

Had a listen to Aran - Destop Universe and apart from the first two electro-house/brostep tracks it was a nice Trance/House album. Listening to [Diverse System] AD: Electronic Dance, again the first track is brostep but a quick flick through the crossfade has me feeling optimistic about it. Still haven't listened to new Shibayan, I like House but really don't like vocals.

Warmly waiting for AD: Drum & Bass and hoping it isn't Drumstep (producers often listen this as D&B in doujin circles). Also waiting on all the Hardcore/Makina stuff but that's not going to be up for months so whatever.

Listened to AD: Electronic Dance, standard kind of House stuff, nothing spectacular. Listening to AD: Drum 'n' Bass now and it sounds alright but it is nothing at all like how western (or rather veteran) producers make Drum & Bass, which is expected since the genre has been developing since around 96 until now and Doujin artists only got into recently.

When there is a Jungle Touhou album, then I will have truly heard everything.

Great...it appears AD: Drum 'n' Bass might be riddled with Brostep synths. I had a feeling this might happen as Doujin artists have been doing this since Brostep and Electro-House became big in the US, I was just hoping it might not happen here.

Irus is LiLaC Records right? I can't handl his stuff because of vocals. Also I keep fucking mixing up Izna and Bizen and keep thinking Izna stopped making D&B, when it was Bizen who stopped and started making Jazz. Izna and IZMIZM and also really good. And Lix, Liz produces godlike stuff.

The further I am getting into AD: Drum 'n' Bass the more I am getting disappointed. This should probably be called AD: Drumstep to be honest, I wasn't expecting Moving Shadow/Metalheadz level stuff, but certainly better than this (I can see why >>10320611 would be put off listening to it).

I heard a few good things about withGOD from LiLaC but couldn't be arsed to continue past the first two tracks since the vocals killed it (in a bad way). Vocals in Drum & Bass only really suit Liquid Funk, and even then only sparing (or Dancehall samples in Jungle but that's not what we are talking about here) and apart from Lix no Doujin producers really make Liquid Funk.

[Project Sync] Project Sync - Mercy. More Liquid Funk, side project of Lix and some other people

[Pastyle] LAZ - Asphyxia Report. Amazingly, this has a very current and popular variant on D&B on it, basically sealed the deal for me about LAZ being the best D&B producer. (Side note, every Pastyle release is pretty good).

[IZMIZM] Izna - Unleashed. Good stuff, straight forward but nice.

[DDBY] Bizen - Touhou Synthesis 3. Bizen before he went full jazz, people used to call this Jazzstep but no one apart from Bizen made any (although if the term did exist people like 4 Hero/Spring Heel Jack/Cloud 9 would fall under it).

[Iemitsu.Productions] JiNG*da*LaW - IA-STYLE/Toho-J. Been ages since I heard this but I seem to recall some D&B being on it.

If we're talking non-doujin D&B it's a totally different ball game.

Because I learned about LAME's compression artifacts while using a log scale and haven't retrained myself with a linear scale. Changing between the two isn't as easy as it should be for me.

The instrumental Buta-Otome album is really nice so far. Melodic and relaxing. Kinda lounge-y, almost jazzy. The mix of originals is really nicely made too, even the more jarring combinations sound natural.
