Oh shit. If you can find it that would be absolutly amazing. It still bugs me till this day that i havent beat it. Im just color blind in areas where colors look alike/blend together, like red and green or blue and purple. The colors were too close together for me to tell them apart from one another in metro. Normal was no problem since it was all defined colors.

I don't understand what to do in the slightest.

I looked at the game again and it seems the blue, purple, and tealish/silverish colors are what gave me trouble.

That event is only for TruSkillz masters that reach level 100 in normal mode.

I got to level 20 and I think I'm done, its cool and I liked some of the stuff it did but if theres someone I need to work towards I'm just not willing to put in the time.

This thread reminded me I needed to check this game out.

I start playing and while I understand that stuff seems to appear in the game folder in a fairly creepy way, I don't really know what I'm doing with regards to the game itself.

No, the text is only on the album screen for the ingame scenes. New .txt files are unlocked at various scores. Check your game folder.

I had already got the >>10165361 ending a few months ago, but decided to give getting the 50K ending another shot and I did it, 51K.
Now I just feel better because whenever these threads come up there's always the risk and temptation of spoiling or half-spoiling something.

Are the last 4 supposed to be the same color? I can't tell. The squares are a hell of a lot better than what's in game though that's for sure. I can tell them appart for the most part, though the ones after yellow are a bit hard, specifically 06_02/08_02 and 03_02/05_02. Everything else is a lot better though.

That dxa file was something I made two years ago. Upon searching the archives and fooling around a little, I found that yeah, the current version of DxLib and Irisu Syndrome are incompatible. Switching back to the version that I was using before fixed it.

Holy shit it's perfect man. I can finally beat metsu now. I cant thank you enough. You should really post this with the game download link as well. It's a lot better than the original and if im not mistaken I have seen complaints before on /jp/ about people with color blindness not begin able to beat metsu.

Anyone know if there is any source code of this game, or a port to any other platform?
It's a ridiculously simple game, it shouldn't be hard to remake the game engine.

I did some work doing this earlier today but trying to recreate all of the physics from scratch is kind of daunting.

I never did upload the colorblind version I made a while back. Mine is really fucking bad so I had to add like swirls and shapes to help distinguish colors apart. I'll try yours out and see how it is.

Ah, still can't tell the difference between these two. Oh well.

One is purple, one is blue.
Those are easy to tell apart.
Now when it starts dropping orange brown and pink ones...those start to blend together.

Like I said, mine is exceptionally terrible. Brown was the worst, I had to make it some really weird circular filter in the square because it blended in so well with reds and greens, especially when semi transparent like before the blocks become active.

Heres mine, it has the same problem as dxot's old one where you have to have an uncompressed img folder, but i'm too lazy to fix it so... dxot if you like i'd really suggest adding a swirl to some of the similar tones. It really helps and still looks nice. Especially when you shoot at the corners of square blocks and they start tumbling really fast.

If you're still having a problem, do you happen to have a Nvidia card? Irisu has a compatibility issue with them, you need to force anti-aliasing else it crashes.

Apparently if you decode a passworded package, you have to reencode it with the same password or it doesn't work. Weird.

I assume that's because the Irisu game uses that password itself, so if it tries decoding and there's no password, it mismatches.

Happened to me too. If you need it, Metsu can be unlocked with a code: in the main menu Up 4x, Right 2x and Down.
