Yeah, no. I had one of them talking into my ear when we went out one night about how "the police don't understand respect, this guy stole a fiver worth of hash from me so we broke his windows and beat him up!". Then we went out for a smoke and I ended up palling around with a big gang of them and they beat up a drunk foreigner for no reason and knives came out so I fucked off with some less violent people I know.

One of those less violent people is a hanger-on of those scumbags, and it's especially him that's always parroting on about this respect shit even though he's the butt of all their jokes.

Only up to middle school is compulsory, so to answer your question: most of them don't fuck around with high school. Dramas show them in high school because they want a redeeming story.
