Danbooru is a filtered image depository. All images you see there have been pre-approved according to subjective anal criteria and even then the moderators have been known to cave to popular opinion on artists (at one point bkub was even rejected but due to his popularity it was re-approved). Danbooru is a place where the pictures are chosen FOR YOU, not YOU choosing them.
I mean really choose gelbooru over danbooru if your so lazy as to not even set up a Pixiv account. You should only give a shit about danbooru unless you REALLY need something translated because there's enough genuine weeaboos to do that for you.

Because it's predominantly a japanese site. There are extensions for firefox and chrome which auto translate the common tags on pixiv if you need them. I don't know them specifically because i've never needed them so sorry but I can't help you find them.

That's why I say it's easier just to use danbooru. It has practically everything on pixiv, anyway and now you can even see the stuff that doesn't get approved if you set it so it doesn't hide deleted.

Gelbooru ones definitely are. Danbooru comments are mostly annoying teenagers trying to be witty with everything they say or gushing over Touhou. But Gelbooru's are like sincere expressions by idiots and horny creeps.
