Many composers are very good, many songs are pretty good. But the singing sounds horrendous, especially Miku. The voice synth technology still has to be perfected.

I support vocaloid because I like the idea that someone without singing talent could make songs with vocals, that said, I've never found a Miku song I liked. I do like some Rin/Len songs, like Meltdown, Lost Destination, and Tengaku though. The Robovoice doesn't bother me if the vocals are catchy enough.
