Philosophical question here, /jp/.

I was sitting in my chair considering the fate of Mad Thad recently and how it's likely that he's trying to chalk all of his paraphilias and fetishes up to internet humor and, as a result, he probably has to stay away from a lot of wholesome /jp/ activities that the authorities might incorrectly evaluate as evidence of his criminal inclinations. He is probably completely isolated from moe anime and eroge and all the fun stuff that we take for granted.

It got me thinking... What if you had no choice but to abandon your hobbies? How would you cope? Would you give it all up or would you remain stalwart weeaboo even in the face of legal retribution?
