It was high time to find someone that would turn the situation for the better, in other words they sorely needed a Miracle that would outshine the rest of the group, so a grand audition for the 7th generation's new star was held. Some 20,000 wannabe idols applied to it and just Koharu managed to make it.
The rest is history. Koharu eventually managed to assert herself and drive home to everyone her talent, after a slight initial mistrust on the wotas' part. It's quite clear that anyone still vocally questioning her qualities to this day is just a part of that small group whom hasn't yet accepted that she lived up to the expectancies.
At nearly 17 years of age, Kusumi Koharu is clearly one of the brightest and most talented star of the H!P firmament.

Then, praytell, what makes her hot or at least attractive? I could stand her years ago when she had no experience to speak of, some ratty hairdo and could barely hold her bladder from the excitement, but now that she's to all intents and purposes an upstart idol who likes putting on airs despite not having improved a bit since back then she's completely insufferable.
