Well of course, the point is that she's a pitiful child and desperate to find the truth, but she can't just accept an answer just like that after having longed for it all her life. She tries to but she just can't, she goes through the 5 stages of grief and it takes her a long time just like it takes a lot of readers a long time to understand. The truth ended up not working for her because in reality, that's never what it was about for her, even though she thinks it is. I suppose I can understand finding her cynical and bratty behaviour for most od the story annoying but I feel like it's hard to really hate her character if you like Umineko as a whole.
